Course Curriculum Overview

5

DSE is well known for it's rigorous syllabus, college curriculum is tough than other institutions specially in Economics. The curriculum provides in-depth knowledge and and excellent career opportunities. I choose this college because it has good career opportunities instead it's toughest curriculum. After you once entered in this college you will able to know real world problem solving skills in corporates and policy making.

Internships Opportunities

5

There is excellent internship opportunity in our college, internship season is starts generally from January and ends on March. Companies like JP Morgan, Citi bank, Mastercard, Nomura, Accenture, American express, UBS, EY, etc. came to campus and stipend is from Rs.50000-Rs.150000 per month.

Placement Experience

5

After the completion of second semester students are become eligible for campus placement. Mostly investment banks and consultant companies visits campus like JP Morgan, UBS, Amazon, Capital one, Mastercard, Accenture, Goldman Sachs, Zomato, EY,Wells Fargo etc. Highest package is 45 LPA in 2024 and average is 18-20 LPA. Those who are register for campus recruitment almost all student get placed.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure of DSE is relatively affordable compare to other private institutions. The approximate academic fee is Rs.12000-Rs.15000 in a year. It includes tuition fee Rs.240, University students welfare fund Rs.250, faculty /Department /centre /college student welfare fund Rs.1720, University department fund Rs.1200, faculty department /centre /college facilities and services charges Rs.6851 and others. The fees for different categories (general, OBC, SC, ST etc.) may slightly different.

Campus Life

5

Overall experience is very good in college, There is huge diversity students have came from all states of India and there are students from foreign also.Range and accessibility of books and journals is available in library one can access easily without any cost.Classes are taken in projector and other technologies are available in college.

Hostel Facilities

4

There are 10-12 hostel in university for both boys and girls. All Hostels are at the university campus not much distance from college. Messing facility is very good you got three times food breakfast, lunch and dinnner. Food quality is first class with hygiene. One can get admission at hostel according to CUET score after the 2-3 months of admission.

Admission

Otherthan DSE I applied in top central universities like JNU, HCU and BHU. I got selected in HCU and BHU but I choosed DSE over these beacuse it is a prestigious institutions in India and it provides huge opportunities in corporates, higher studies, research and in government institutions. Admission is through CUET entrance exam which is conducted ny NTA every year in March or April. Eligibility criteria is you must have Bachelor degree and Mathematics in 12th or in UG. Cutoff is very high, it's more than 230 out of 300 for general and less tha 230 for other catagory. Admission process is flexible.

Faculty

4

There are enough faculty member in college and their teaching standard is appreciable. The bonding between students and faculties is good, you can approach all professors at their office hours and in classroom also. Faculty student ratio is approximately 1:20.I like all the faculties because all are very good and helping in nature.

Interview Experience

4

Admission is mainly through CUET entrance exam which is conducted by NTA every year. There is only one round in entrance exam except some colleges which are conducted interview. GD is about the exam, eligibility, application registration process, courses available, admission process and details about admission. I prepared for this by myself for 3-4 months with dedication.

Night Life

5

After the end of the classes we all are rush for the JP tea stall for tea, coffee and other snacks which is situated inside the college campus. End of the day at evening students also go to SUDAMA for tea which is very famous tea stall in north campus. At night we are go to Patel chest for hangout. There are gym and other sports complex of university, many are go for gym and sports and there are other beautiful places in university campus.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have always held that the training I recieved during my masters programme prepared the grounds for my future development. The teaching pedagogy was centres around participation and a two way dialogue. I am not in the capacity to be suggesting improvements in curriculum as my stint in the university was almost perfect- more than I could have ever asked for.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is well designed by the renowned professors and faculty members from different universities in India and from abroad as well. The content was choosen keeping in mind to cover all the aspects of the specific subject for a pg student. As I mentioned before, the quality of study material was very good and helpful and very enough. But the pg thesis is missing from our course, due to which we were not able to do a research project. It appears to me after the completion of my first year that we can do our research under our given faculty but it wasn't mentioned in the course structure as it is mainly upto our faculties.

In IGNOU, you can study from anywhere because the courses are offered in distance and online mode. You don’t have to attend regular college; you can study at home using the books, PDFs, and online lectures. IGNOU also provides online teachers through live classes, recorded videos, and doubt-clearing sessions on their online platforms. This makes it easy for students to learn even if they are working or living in another city.

Course Curriculum Overview:

For the course i must say that this is something everyone needs to study about even if it's for just a part. We have ethics, moral, cultural relativism and etc. In our syllabus and it all really help to make our thinking rational, to see World from that point of view from where one can see the clarity. It's really necessary for improvement in personality and making good decision. I think there's need for making this course more practical like teaching, we can teach students about essentials of philosophy for there betterment of decision making from an early age.
