About IMI Delhi
IMI Delhi is India's first corporate-sponsored business school established in 1981. The college is ranked 40th by NIRF 2024 in Management category and 8th in Top Private B-Schools by IIRF 2024. IMI Delhi offers PGDM, PGDM (HRM), PGDM (B&FS), 18 - Month PGDM (Executives), and FPM (Doctoral Program).
IMI Delhi Fees for PGDM is INR 22 Lakhs and admission to the PGDM program is offered on the basis of CAT/ XAT/ GMAT score. IMI Delhi Admission for PGDM is a 2-stage process, i.e at stage 1 applicants are assessed on the basis of entrance exam score and academic profile of the candidate. In phase 2, selected candidates are further called for a Personal Assessment process (Essay Writing + Personal Interview). The CAT cutoff for admission to IMI Delhi was 90 percentile.
Apart from the flagship PGDM program, IMI Delhi also offers PGDM program in HRM (Human Resource Management) & B&FS (Banking & Financial Services). The college offers a 2 year Executive PGDM program. - Placements here are majorly managed by students, which can be good and bad at the same time depending on their credibility
- It's located almost 15 km from the main city, so there's almost no urban facilities to avail
Admission:
I'll start with admission process, which here is a breeze, fill the form, one interview round, and you're in. Eligibility criteria is 65+ in CAT/XAT I loved the campus, the companies that visit here are also similar to what i'm looking for, so this became my preferred choice. Other colleges which i had in my go to list were Welingkar Mumbai and Bimtech Noida. I faced rejection from Bitsom, because though they accept forms from 75 percentilers but they reject them just before interview stage.

- Superb faculty... All of them are highly experienced.... Well upto date.... Close to industry and very humble to help students.
- The selection of syllabus and courses are made looking into industry needs.. To keep students on the game always.
Dislikes
- Less ROI..... i think the ROI students get after investigation 15 lakhs is little low.
- Bad food quality and various issues related hostel. Menu are good but the quality of food are not that good. There are issues with hostel rooms also.
Admission:
For me location played a vital role. Apart fron this the brand of IMI along with RPSG plays a vital role. Placements are also good achieving almost 100 % placement in every batch. Faculty is very strong...... And they give extra cases and online courses.

Admission:
For admission I applied on IMI portal where I submitted my CAT and XAT score and got shortlisted for GD and PI. The cut off is around 65-70 so I got selected and then I paid the first installment after which I started my college

- The Hostel which too comfortable with AC and Non AC both.
- Bathroom is also good , rarely there is any water related issue.
Dislikes
- College doesn't spend much of events and fests
Admission:
The eligibility is 60 percentile in Cat and 75 in Cmat and also there is trimester based exams and there is 3 months gap will be provided between ending of 1st year and starting of 2nd and students will complete there Summer Internship between that tenure.

- The campus is very beautiful with greenery all around.
- The faculties are well educated and are very helpful
Dislikes
- Mess food can be improved. Some days it's good some days it's not.
- The campus is situated on the outskirts of the city
Admission:
The admission process was smooth. It includes a Group Discussion round followed by a Written ability test and Personal Interview. The cutoff for CAT is 70%ile. The college also accepts other entrance exams such as XAT and CMAT. There are reservation benefits as well as scholarship too.

- I loved the hostel as it has AC rooms and washing mechine room. Guards are there to take care of us.
- It is a beautiful campus with lush greenery.
Dislikes
- Attendance pressure. Sometimes it gets too much to handle.
- Hectic schedule. Sometimes it becomes exhausting.
Admission:
As I study PGDM in IMI Bhubaneswar, I opted here through CMAT where I had 89.85 percentile. I applied here and then got interview call. It is a profile based college so cut off is not the only thing upon which you will be evaluated. I got PI call within a week. I had my PI . Basic questions were asked. As I am a student of English literature inwas asked about that as well. Then I had WAT where I was given a topic and I had to write immediately by sharing my screen. Within a week or so I got my call letter. Considering the brand and also residential campus I opted for it.

- It is placed in a quite remote place so it took a lot time to travel

The eligibility criteria of the course was 60+ percentile. The application form and the various details regarding the fee structure is available in the college website. There is scholarship opportunities for the reservation class in they are in the merit list. Exams are held in or after 1 or 1.5 months interval along with the presentations. The addmission process is very smooth.

Is IMI delhi good for pursuing MBA in HR?
IMI Delhi has its flagship PGDM course wherein you can choose any specialization in the second year ranging from finance, marketing, and operations to HRM. Apart from this flagship course, IMI Delhi additionally offers a separate specialization program i.e., PGDM HRM (Human Resource Management).
Suitability: The program is targeted toward individuals keen to kickstart their careers in the HR domain.

During 2016, IMI witnessed an increase in batch size from 240 to 360. This took place under the discretion of the then Director General Padma Shree Dr. Bakul Dholakia, who was responsible for affairs during that time. Throughout his tenure, IMI excelled and the NIRF Rankings and Placement Reports during that time are a testament to the same. After this, he left but his work was in progress.
Post this scenario, the corporate world was struck with demonetization, and falling banking sectors and this combined with increased batch size caused havoc and created immense pressure on the placement cell. The placement figures saw a drastic fall despite being the hub of Finance.

The highest package increased by 56% to INR 50 LPA & the average package increased by 15% to INR 17.01 LPA. 100+ recruiters participated in the placement drive. IMI Delhi Summer Internship Placements 2024 is also concluded. The highest stipend stood at INR 2.80 Lakhs & the average stipend stood at INR 73 K. IMT Ghaziabad's 2023 placements concluded on a high note, securing 100% placement for all students. Compared to the previous year, the highest package saw a significant jump of 5.8% to reach an impressive INR 65.6 LPA. The average package also witnessed a remarkable increase of 13.4% to reach INR 17.35 LPA. Additionally, students received a noteworthy 75 pre-placement offers. Delhi IMI was ranked 34th by the NIRF management ranking 2023. Since its establishment in 2015, NIRF (National Ranking Framework Institute) has been awarding university rankings in five areas: teaching, learning and resources (TLR), research and professional practice (RP), final results (GO), coverage and inclusiveness (OI) and perception.
