Remarks
The admission process was smooth, GD/PI process was fast, but admission happens centrally as it's a university. It becomes a little hassle for a newbie to rush to the central office for fee submission. The application form can be found on the DU website and any graduate can apply.
Course Curriculum Overview
It's a pure self-learning course. Teachers usually don't give much time to professional learning, but some very senior professors groom the students. Academically the syllabus and curriculum are good. But more industry-oriented faculty is required which has connections with the corporate sector as well.
Internships Opportunities
Internship opportunities are plentiful, very good companies come for their profiles. Good stipends and multiple opportunities in different sectors like FMCG/CD, Power, Consulting, E-commerce with good opportunities.
Placement Experience
The placements are good. College alumni have developed a good brand for the college in the industry. The first couple of years may be slow, but slowly learning and growing helps in achieving good fulfilling careers. College ROI is very good.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees structure is nominal. Roughly 15,000 per year for the course and there are placement fees of about Rs. 10,000 per year. Good placement and internship opportunities are there as there are a lot of alumni in the corporate sector and they are good brands in their organizations
Campus Life
Campus life is good. There are other course people, with whom one has interaction and learn more about the different. fields as well. Ratan tata Library is the best, almost every book and journal can be found there. Different student initiative communities on the campus also help in organizing fests and events for professional growth.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel seats are very limited, generally given to the entrance toppers. Roughly 2-3 students in the batch get to the hostels. The hostels are very cheap, roughly 24k-42k/year including food, depending on the allocated hostel. Most of the students have to opt for PG or rooms, which are available in the nearby vicinity.
Interview Experience
GD topics are from current affairs and normal Interview questions are asked. Any graduate can apply. One has to know research and prepare about everything written in the CV and profile. Going through the internet and reading newspapers and brushing about the graduation subjects
