Course Curriculum Overview

Curriculum is highly Economics focused hence the name Business Economics. Its a plus point for people coming from Economics background however others struggle a bit. All in all one needs to study really hard.

Class Size: 90Course Fees: INR 100000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Total fees 88500 per year. The college fees is 48500 for first year and then there is a student body fees of 40000 for the first year. The same will be for the next year as well. However there was a 1300 enhancement fees charged separately. The application fees for the college was 2000.

Campus Life

Campus life is pretty good. We have a lot of clubs and committees where one can explore and develop good inter personal skills. We have Placement Committee, Alumni Relations Committee, Corporate Communication Cell, Entrepreneurship Cell.

Admission

I wanted a college in Delhi for it's prime location. Department of Business Economics is at par with all the baby IIMs. I had few options but this college stands out from all other. The fees is also affordable for a MBA degree.

Faculty

The faculty to student ratio is 1:80. Everyone is highly qualified and helpful. The curriculum is very vast and there are 7 subjects for each semesters. Exam season gets little stressful as the exams are on alternative days.

Night Life

Library is open till late. Hostelers are allowed to roam around till 10 pm. The area is pretty safe and peaceful at night. One can enjoy satya niketan as well at night. Can go around delhi to explore more.

Compass provide a place the highest package our were born is 20 lakhs per annum from the Fite department and the average placement gets around 8 to 10 laks and the minimal is7-8 lakhs. Course Curriculum Overview:

DBE Experience

Placement Experience:

Till the time of writing, I am in 3rd month of my 5 month last semester and in my class about 60% of my batch is placed. You have to submit a student body fee of 40000 a year to be eligible for taking placements as this help out in having events organized outside the college. As there is no placement cell provided by DU, our student body is mostly run by students. Currently highest package offered was about 27 lpa and roles that have come are management trainee, Junior Data scientist, risk analyst etc.

Placement Experience:

The unique selling point of this college would be placement. Big companies come here for hiring and take a bunch if students among them, the students who have completed their first year are eligible to sit in placement Companies like Delloite, Black Rock, loreal, Federal Bank, MRF, and many more visit every year for placement with an average package of 8 to 9 lakhs. The highest package one student got is 33 lakhs. The percentage of students getting placed is 80-100 percent, depending on the time. My plans after my degree are the same as many students to get placed in a good company with a good package

Life at DBE

I picked DBE over others because of the Amazing ROI it offers, it has 14.41LPA average package when the overall fee is less than 2 Lakhs (including SB Fund). DBE Experience

I did got 98.16 percentile but being a General Engineer Male candidate, I didn't had a lot of options. I applied to almost all IITs, IIMs and all other colleges who take admission from CAT. I chose this college because of the fees, as I got call from IMT gaziabad and IMI New Delhi both of them having fees over 20 lakhs vs this college whose fees is about 2 lakhs including student body. I got rejections from all other colleges because of being a GEM candidate and low academics, some interviews didn't go up to the mark. The admission of this college is pretty easy as from 2-3 years they have stopped taking personal interviews so you only get accepted based on your overall score which includes gender score, academics of 10th, 12th and grad, also takes which degree you took in account. pretty much this sums up my answer...Read More

It's a great bet, if you want to do MBA that too with low fees, good brand & great placements!

I got offer from mostly all baby IIMs, I chose DBE because of ROI, and the brand of University of Delhi is unmatchable already in India, also taking loan for an MBA in this tough market? Are you really making a rational decision? Here ROI is beyond roofs. Review of DBE from its student

The admission is via CAT exam and average percentile is around 94-95. The major factor that is attractive here is that it is not a generic MBA and is unique in its way. The ROI is great here with biggest of the companies visiting here. More than 50 years of legacy, so it has great alumni base. The other colleges I left were some of the IIMs, DSE etc....Read More
