Different Hues of DBE

The curriculum is highly inclined to analytics as that is the most demanding specialization in the industry these days. The curriculum effectively bridges theory with practice. Area of improvement- More practical Approach, Interactive teaching method Exams are conducted twice a year. Exams are moderately tough, requiring conceptual clarity.

there are huge internship opportunities available at DBE. In the 1st semester onwards the placement process starts. Companies like, Arcesium, American express, moodys, dolat capital, circlek, ICICI Bnk and othe start ups come to the campus to hire students. Roles offered; financial analyst, data analyst, consultants, marketing associates etc.

From 3rd semester students are eligible to sit in the placement process. Some of the companies include; Arcesium, American Express, EY, Moodys, ICIC Bnak, RBL Bank, Barclays etc. Highest package offered this year is 24.75 LPA and the average package is 14.45LPA . Almost 100% placement is there. This year around 70% of the batch is placed till now. My plan is very simple I want to get into analytics field and making a career in that field.

DBE is known for its affordable fees and high ROI. Total fees for the entire course is 97000/- for general/obc/ews students with no extra fees. The fee structure has remained relatively stable, with minor increase in fees due to adminstrative costs. Students belonging to sc/st and other categories benefit from concessions. DBE does not offer scholarships, but students can apply for external schemes provided by DU.

The library is the strongest acdemic resource in the campus, offering a wide range of books, research papers, and journal related to differnt fields, analytics and finance. Classrooms are functional but basic, equipped with projectors an WiFi. While sports facilities exist, they are not very well maintained or widely promoted. Basic sports like cricket, badminton, football are available. DBE has several student run clubs and committees.

I had applied for many colleges like all IIMs, GIM, IMI DELHI, FMS BHU, IIT DELHI, IIT MADRAS, IIT ROORKEE, DFS, FMS, DSE etc. I got confirmation from GIM, FMS BHU, IIM ROHTAK, IIT ROORKEE. But i accepted the offer letter from DBE. First i analysed every offer i had at that time, compared theirs ROI, placements, course curriculum etc. Then i reached at a conclusion that DBE would be the best for me. Because of its analytics specialization and probably the best ROI. Expect from these colleges i got rejected from every other colleges because of my low CAT score and low GDPI score in the selection process. The admission process is quite simple. It gives extra benefi to those who have maths in thier 12th and BA Eco. in graduation as it is more specific to economics. It accepts only valid CAT score and 92+%ile is needed for a general category student to get into DBE.

Faculty-to-student ration is decent at DBE. While some teachers are approachable and helpful, others prefer a traditional teaching style. I liked DR. sunil sir a lot because of his structured approach of teaching. He is the best faculty there for me. There are 2 or 3 exams of each subjects in every semester. They are moderately difficult. 1 to 2% studens fail to clear the exams. Course curriculum is highly relevant.

Gym timing is 6AM-9PM well maintained. Cafeterias- 9AM- 5PM Library- 9AM-5PM Hostel and the campus is 24hours open. on campus hangout places include- cafeterias, badminton court, football ground outside the campus- sarojini market, north campus area
