- The course curriculum is best suited for people interested in Analytics and gives hands on experience for modern techniques making the MBA programme more unique.
- The discipline and seriousness shown by your peers creates an excellent learning environment.
Dislikes
- My batch was admitted without the interview process which created loopholes in the overall discipline of the batch.
- A little lack of resources as compared to IIMs kind of pushes the Department behind in rankings.
- If you are part of multiple Clubs and Committees, it gets a little tough to manage all the tasks.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is mostly aligned towards Economics but you don't need to have prior experience in the field, you can start afresh and still excel. I picked this course specifically for the Analytics part of it.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee is around 50k a year, making it a very affordable MBA programme in the country. The Department has one of the best ROIs among B-schools. There is category wise rebate offered in the total fee.
Campus Life
There are 13 Clubs and Committees on the Department with each having one annual event and a few of them having weekly events, this makes the campus life and the MBA experience very engaging. The library on campus has everything an MBA Student might need in his time at campus. The cultural committee and sports club makes sure that the experience is not just academic but has fun element attached to it.
Admission
I picked DBE over others because of the Amazing ROI it offers, it has 14.41LPA average package when the overall fee is less than 2 Lakhs (including SB Fund). The admission process includes Personal Interviews. I would suggest the candidates to visit the Official Website for detailed information on the department.
Faculty
The faculty-to-student ratio is around 1:20, and the faculty being very approachable when it comes to grievances or any other help needed by the students. The faculty is very well experienced in their field, creating an amazing learning environment. There are 7 subjects per semester in the first year and 6 in the second year. As every other college, it is easy to clear the exams as long as people study seriously.
Night Life
The campus being in Delhi has an amazing night life. People living nearby campus area have access to the metro nearby and is very close to the center of the city. Boys Hostel has no in time but Girls hostel has some restrictions. Satya Niketan area just outside the campus is a SPOT for every student.
