Life in Delhi university South campus

Fees and Financial Aid:

The admission fee was 5000 something and after that you have to pay semester fee per semester which never exceeded above 7000max. So for one year the fee was 12000 something. The fee i just stated is including everything ie caution fee lab fees and all. Other than that there are scholarships that students having minority certificate (SC/ST/OBC) the amount i have no idea and another scholarship is that one which the first two toppers will get two times ie 1 scholarship in first year and 2nd in second year. Since i was the second topper of my batch so i got 2000 rs scholarship each year.

Course Curriculum Overview:

syllabus is good but can be better as we are the 1st batch for our course here so they might update and improve the syllabus in a couple of years. also the syllabus is bit lengthy than other universities. teachers and academics are good here just practical labs need to be better. Lab experience for students is poor.

Curriculum is vast and consists of basic and at times deep knowledge. Consists of theory and practical aspects which makes scientific techniques easier to understand. Facilities provided are good and satisfactory. Staff including lab assistants are helpful and supportive.

Yes, our course is very huge and covers many of the research fields. It opens up opportunities for doing a Ph.D. in any field for which we interested in. Faculty of our college is highly educated and helps us in any way.

Course Curriculum is up to date and is adapted as per DBT guidelines. Academics is way too hectic and not much emphasis is given on practical application of knowledge. Students are made to do assignments that do not involve any sort of innovation and proactive utilisation of time.

Course curriculum for MSc courses has been designed according to the guidelines of UGC strictly. The syllabus is very extensive. The faculty if very experienced and learned. Lab facilities are good. Syllabus is completed on time. Exams and other evaluation measures are conducted with seriousness.
