The course had practical and theoretical knowledge of core concepts for every subject. The teachers were experts in their respective fields. The practical experience also enhanced the learning process.

The curriculum is very good and engaging always .. the way the teacher/ faculty step by step go forward with the whole course is appreciable. Some areas that can be improved is that some teachers deny providing the pdf for the material taught . But I guess it is for the good of the student's and so it is ohkay . The exam timing is 6 months and sometimes frequent class test and viva are taken which are helpful enough .

I think the curriculum is well designed the students can learn mamy new things specially in the practical classes we have to perform ourselves and be self dependent due to this we learn many things.we also get the opportunity to choose vaitious other paper of our interest that is sec and vac dues to which we can learn many new things and can attain various opportunities. THE EXAMS happen twice a year per sem we have exams we do not have mid term exams . We only have a test for each subject from which marks are taken for internals. The exam lasts for usually a month.

I choose this course because I wanted to go in the science field from starting and I heard that this course helps you in you career establishment. It really prepared me well in my life and I've gain so much knowledge and skills from this. I think the technology should be improved and the teaching style has to be more advanced. Exams were not that difficult.
Curriculum was perfectly designed to cover each and every aspect of life sciences, since our course had all Zoology, Botany and Chemistry, there was wide scope and several practical applications. One thing that need improvement is we were taught cell biology in final year in the last year , One more nice thing was that we used to have one additional subject in each semester that helped us gain additional knowledge like, IPR, EVS, Green Chemistry, Medical diagnostics, English.

The course is detailed and covers wide variety of topics that make student well equipped for further learning process. The course is a bit hectic as there is a major chunk of syllabus to be covered , along with regular practical labs to be attended. Additional to this , there are periodic tests for the evaluation for the assessment.

This course offers a variety of subjects like zoology, botany, and chemistry. You can major in any of them. By choosing them as your DSC. The semester exams are conducted every 4-5 months. Sometimes, teachers do not teach properly. This should be improved.

I had interest in zoology and chemistry and i wanted to study both of these subjects and then do masters in a particular subject among these two. That's why i chose this course to study both of them in my undergraduation course. Here, in DU, as per the new curriculum, we also have to choose some additional subjects to study. They help us in increasing our knowledge.

As I was a student of Life Sciences, which includes chemistry, zoology and botany as the core subjects, it was very productive and informative studying these subjects as you are being exposed to 3 different fields in the same amount of time as an honours student would face. Some might think that studying 3 different subjects may divert your mind and you'll not be able to focus on one thing but let me tell you one thing that this is the age when you're most productive, versatile, so choose asany fields as you can, work in as many things as you can. And most importantly there is so much scope after life sciences, you can enter into any field be it microbiology, biotechnology, bioinformatics, biostatistics, forensic science, applied chemistry, taxonomy, molecular biology, genetic engineering. And about the relevance of the curriculum, the curriculum that Delhi University provides for life sciences is in accordance with the real world applications and further academic pursuiits.
