- The fest that the college organises is one of the best in delhi university k/as nexus .
- The diversity of college is Pretty good. I've met people from different regions so that just gives you good overall experience.
Dislikes
- The college societies do not open up for mid term recruitments . And being in societies should be for learning purposes for people who even are not good at it . They'll learn but that ain't the case .
- College has unnecessary Assignments for subjects like EVS other colleges of du also have the same subject but here they expect you to do it like it's a core.
- The canteen does not serve non veg and some dishes are just not good the variety in the canteen is too little.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is old and outdated . There has been no integration of modern techniques. The course structure isn't designed in a way of providing employment in modern world . The sec and vac are nothing but a waste of time . They should rather abandon those and let children actually learn what they wish to. This is the problem with the NEP not particularly the college
Internships Opportunities
There are a lot of internship opportunities provided I keep on getting WhatsApp messages for internships . But those internships are not really from bigger companies . Some people might be interested in it but depends from person to person
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees that I filled up for my course that bsc life sciences was ?25000/- yr that makes it 75,000/- for three years course that's is the complete duration. Yes there are scholarships provided for the students .
Campus Life
The campus is compact and beautiful. It is not really big . There is only one badminton court and too many wish to play it. There is two lawn tennis courts but very few intrested to play. The college should accomodate a teacher who actually the games to children willing for . The classes are good but do not have and Air conditioner that is a major major drawback in delhi summers
Admission
The college has always been one of the top colleges and when you talk about du Sri Venkateswara College is one of the most talked about colleges. The college has an overall better reputation than other college and thus provide you a comprehensive experience. I had some colleges above this but those were not in my marks range
Faculty
The faculty of the college is knowledgeable and good in behaviour. There are some teachers who just try to make your life easier in college . There are mid sem exams which is called internals they vary in weightage . In my course we have 80 marks practicals and 60marks theory papers.
Night Life
The area around college has a lot of cafes which is considerable good area but as you go in .Satya is not a very good place to stay. It is unsafe at night and I've heard many students get good poisoning from eating unknown street food. Teachers themselves advice to not reside in area just next to the college. In day it is a good hangout. The connectivity is excellent the metro is right outside the college
