Documents Required for GATE Exam 2025
While taking GATE Exam, candidates must make sure they have all of the necessary documentation with them.

GATE Exam Day Instructions
To prevent confusion on exam day, GATE Exam 2025 conducting body has issued a few instructions. Below, we've listed them:
- Candidates must carry their GATE Admit card with them when they take the exam.
- They must bring an original picture ID, such as an Aadhaar-UID, passport, PAN card, voter ID, or driver's license, to the exam center in addition to their admit card.
- They have 90 minutes to get to the GATE exam location before the test starts. Additionally, they won't be able to check in once the exam has begun, which is 30 minutes.
- Twenty minutes before the start of the test, they are permitted to log on and read the instructions.
- Candidates are needed to bring their own pocket-sized hand sanitizer, pencil, transparent water bottle, mask, and pen.
- They must read the question paper in order to choose and organize the order in which they should tackle the sections.
GATE Exam Pre-Exam Specifications
- Candidates will be allowed to log in 20 minutes before the actual GATE Exam starts.
- They must go through the necessary instructions during the allotted time. However, they will not be allowed to start answering till the specified time.
- Candidates must use the time to understand the provided instructions.
- Also, scribble pads for rough work will be provided at the exam center. Candidates have to return the scribble pad after completing the exam.
