- The AIFSET 2026 Exam paper includes100 MCQs, and the exam duration is 60 minutes. There is no negative marking. AIFSET result 2026 will be announced on December 2, 2025.
- AIFSET 2026 application form is available online only, and will not be available in any other mode.

What is AIFSET 2026?
All India Forensic Science Entrance Test (AIFSET) is a national level entrance test to enrol into the forensic science courses of its various participating universities. Candidates who want to work in this field can apply for the course through this examination.
The duration of the course is three years for the Bachelor program and two years for Masters Program. All India Forensic Science Entrance Test (AIFSET) is an Online, computer-based test examination of 60 minutes duration.

AIFSET 2026 Eligibility Criteria
B.Sc Forensic Science
The Candidate must have a minimum educational qualification of higher secondary school (10 + 2) or any equivalent education with Physics, Chemistry,Biology and/or Mathematics as the main subjects with a minimum aggregate of 50%.Candidates who are due to appear in the (10 + 2) examination are also eligible to apply. Candidate can attempt AIFSET exam max three times.
M.Sc Forensic Science
The Candidate must have completed their graduation in B.Sc forensic science or B.Sc in relevant subjects or stream from a recognised University with a minimum aggregate 50 percent. Those who are in the final semester of the Bachelor Programme are also eligible to apply. Candidate can attempt AIFSET exam max three times.

AIFSET 2026 Exam Pattern
- The AIFSET 2026 exam will be conducted in online mode and you can appear in the same using your mobile, laptop, or desktop.
- There will be ONE question paper of a total 60 minutes.
- The question paper will be in English.
- Candidates would be awarded 1 mark for each correct answer, however, there is no negative marking for any wrong answer.
AIFSET 2026 Exam Guidelines

- The AIFSET 2026 exam will be conducted in the online mode and you can appear it from your mobile, laptop or desktop.
- There will be 100 MCQ with One Correct Answer, to be attempted in 60 minutes. Candidates would be awarded 1 mark for each correct answer, however there is no negative marking for any wrong answer.
- Candidates are requested to appear at least 30 minutes before the beginning of the examination.
- Candidates can login in the examination system using their registered email ID and Mobile no.

AIFSET 2026 Admit Card
- Candidates can download admit cards from their AIFSET Application login portal 48 hours before the scheduled AIFSET Exam Date.
- The Admit Card will bear the following details of the candidate: Name, AIFSET Registration ID, Roll Number for AIFSET 2026, Date of Birth, Category, photograph, signature, examination schedule, examination Time and instructions to candidates.

AIFSET 2026 Result
- Results will be declared on December 2, 2025.
- AIFSET results will be available only on the official AIFSET-2026 website. Candidates will need to use their user login and password (created during registration process) for viewing the results on the webpage.
- All candidates who appeared in AIFSET 2026 will be able to download their Scorecard from the official AIFSET 2026 website.
- All the candidates will get a score. All qualified candidates will be eligible to get seats in the participating Universities/Colleges.
- The result declared is generated through Digital Medium & Enrollment into the course is subject to further verification of documents.The further process of admission will be notified to candidates by mail within 3 days from declaration of result.
AIFSET 2026 Course
B.Sc Forensic Science
B.Sc forensic science is a three - year undergraduate program that offers the study of scientific applications and knowledge that helps in the investigation of crimes. This course covers a wide range of subjects and how to carefully analyze and study different objects at crime scenes as they are the most important proofs. Analysis at the crime scenes could be anything from bloodstains, soil, bones, fingerprints,recovering data from mobiles, laptops, computers, DNA profiling, etc. Forensic Science is mostly crime-scene based science, but graduates of forensic science are also consulted in civil cases such as proving the validity of a signature on a will or an important document. M.Sc Forensic Science
M.Sc Forensic Science is a two-year postgraduate degree divided into four semesters. The course deals with the study of crime investigations.
