- The photograph should be properly scanned, should be taken after 1st August 2026, with 80% of the face to be covered with a white background, in a JPEG/JPG Format between 10 KB to 200 KB, and the size should be 3.5cm x 4.5 cm.
- The Candidate’s signature should be in black or blue ink on white paper, scanned at high resolution and updated in JPEG/PNG/JPG format and cover 70-80% of the image in between 10KB to 200KB in size.
- The Candidates belonging to the reserved category should upload the category certificates in a PDF Format, to be issued by a competent authority.
- The International Candidates have to upload a valid Passport or government-issued national ID, and an Aadhar card is not mandatory for foreign nationals.
On the day of the GATE Exam, candidates have to carry a printed copy of the Admit Card, with a Valid Photo ID Used which is used in the application process and a passport-size photograph, which should be the same as the uploaded photograph.
