Delhi University: Students' Opinion

AI-Generated Summary based on 14 Reviews

The college offers a favorable learning environment with varied faculty-to-student ratios, suggesting personalized education. The faculty is experienced, approachable, and from reputed institutions, enhancing the quality of teaching. The curriculum covers law, BBA, and English in the first semester, requiring a minimum of 70% attendance, which contributes to internal assessments. Exams consist of mid-term and end-semester assessments. While the physical infrastructure receives mixed reviews, the faculty is praised for professionalism and support.

Placement opportunities are limited, with notable companies like Muthoot Finance involved. As a new institution, there is no historical placement data, but internships with district lawyers, NGOs, and organizations like the Delhi Legal Services Authority offer valuable experience and stipends. Programs like Project Saksham help students understand legal impacts on underprivileged communities. The college's fee structure is affordable, with an annual fee of Rs. 1.90 lakh, excluding hostel charges. Scholarships are available based on need: a 90% fee waiver for families with income below Rs.

4 lakh, and a 50% waiver for incomes between Rs. 4 to 8 lakh. A laptop reimbursement of up to Rs. 50,000 is offered to all students. Specific courses, such as the BA program in History and Political Science, have a yearly fee of Rs. 12,000, while some courses like BA and LLB cost between Rs. 3,500 to Rs. 4,000 annually. Statutory deposits and other fees are minimal and refundable, ensuring affordability for economically weaker sections.
