Course Curriculum Overview

4

Syllabus is suitable to the course , aims are well defined to teachers. A curriculum is designed to equip students with knowledge and skills. Using technology in class is very msut to train students. keep an eye on clock and first do easy ones .

Fees and Financial Aid

Year wise we pay 15000 , tuition fees was 9000 , caution fees was 1200 , registeration fees was 700 , admission fees was 1000, development fees was 1500 , lab fees 500 and statuatory depoit was 1000 but that was refundable. Batchmate fees was 25000 in b.tech , higher then mine one. Yes there was academic medic scholarship taht mostly look at grades and scores and other circular activities.

Campus Life

4

Annual festivals was Fest only and other is outing while in election periods. There was thousands of books in library. Sports was very good like NTT. Yes Ngo was there , social clubs and portals for jobs also after graduation.

Admission

I got confirmed admission from amity also but i choose du university because its government based college and suits in your resume also while joining job. Yes i got rejection from Bhagat singh because percentile doesnt match at all. Admission process depends on cutoff , eligiblity was 75 for ba program course .

Faculty

3

Faculty ratio is 10:1 , 10 students to teacher to maintain relationships to approach for faculties. I like faculties of concentration that is basically helping me to grow in carrier and life as well. I dont like building faculies because infrastructure is very poorly maintained. there were 5 exams and it was moderate , nor easy neither difficult and about 5 failed to clear.

Night Life

4

Gold gym was there and very beautiful Cafe 27 , urban gala cafe was there and Hussain library near by and everything closed at 12 , except library that closed at 8. I never lived in hostel so timings in campus was 4-8pm. Lajpat nagar market that is safe to roam around.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My father chose Law for me and he was influenced from the general mass that was opting law at that time. The curriculum of law is arbitrary, it is very far from how courts work and operate, the real life experince is hardly taught and the real courts and law can only be understood through internships and practice. There should be real practicing lawyer teaching the working of courts at least once a week or twice a month to prepare the students for what they are going to face in courts and companies. The exams were Moderate in difficulty.

At IIMT School of Law placements are better than many law colleges. Last year only around 60-65% students were placed and even though salary offered was quite less but atleast getting direct jobs itself is a huge achievement when number of law students and law colleges are increasing by the day.

Internships begins after 1st semester and placements after 4th year. This is how it is and even though around 300 or so we're in the final year last year 150 around were placed from campus. So close to 50% is ratio of placement.

At VIPS law placements are quite sorted as in Delhi most chambers have made it a point that their first preference will always be students who have studied in Delhi. This gives VIPs a very big advantage as in private colleges ours is the best.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is relevant and comprehensive in my opinion as it offers me the openness to experience for the course I am currently pursuing. The course offers seven subjects. The subjects changes by semester system. Each semester offers different subjects, therefore, the scope of boredom will not arise. moreover, it will provide knowledge on every topic in depth. I do not found any disadvantage of this course.
