marking scheme and Examination schedule . we had good gaps between two subjects for revising the syllabus
diction of the course. it was as amazing as the syllabus itself

Fees and Financial Aid:

It was a wonderful experience studying in Delhi University. I pursued English (hons) from school of Open learning but the study material was very rich. I never purchased refrence books alll through my Graduation years. It was so impactful and content was so practical that i still remember all my course content. I paid approximately 9000 Rupees every year and it included all other expenses like tuition fees, etc.. My Batchmates paid the same fees as mine. There were good amount of Scholarships and other financial aids available at that moment but fortunately i never accessed them. I got the admission on Merit basis ie. 75 % above in class 12th borad exam and above 85 marks in English subject. I Really miss my Graduation Days !!!

Quality of education keeping the fees in mind.

The Fee structure of my college is affordable and especially for my course, I think it's really good as compared to the quality of education and facilities provided to us by the management and professors. It varies according to different caste. Particularly, my fees is 8890/ year. No such scholarships are provided but financial aids are provided to students from financially weak background.

Balancing Books and city life

The Syllabus at DU english honors is top notch
The first big plus is affordable education

The course is great academically but the support is minimal

When i joined Delhi university open school of learning for my Ba in English Honors one of the best thing is how affordable the course was .The yearly fee was super budget friendly around 4000 to 5000 per year which was a relief according to other universities per year . Charging heft amounts for the same degree . For the entire three year course i ended up spending 15,000 including examination and enrollment fees. And the best part is the fee didnt increase during my batch.

Opportunities and Realities

The first time i paid for going to this college was 18000 approx. for Ba english hons and ig it was same amout for other courses of arts stream. For a 4 years course I will be paying about 70-80k just for the college alone. And during my stay in the college there are many other necessities which we have to pay for as we all know , like society stuffs , department fees and own personal expenses which is around 4-5k a month minimum (excluding pg fees, electricity, etc). Also from my batchmates they too pay around the same.As for Benefits of Sc/St i think they do have a little reduction among other general students , like myself. We also have scholarship facilities which we will be getting approximately 70-80k within or after our courses. Usually most doesn't get the scholarship as it is selected wise. For me i had applied for the National scholarship IsanUday , but there is also college scholarships provided, which both of these should be students who's family income is within 4lakh pet annum and the should have all the required certificates and proofs.
