Course Curriculum Overview

5

The course curriculum is all the way good or okay okay! Since I really didn't come across any negative thing about course curriculum yet,so I can't really answer about this but yaa I can say that faculty can do more better to create interest in students to read novels, critical essays and poems and all the things which are required to study being a literature Student.apart from this ,the course English Honours is best and best I can say ..if a student is so much interested in reading, writing, and fictional novels and all such things.for that particular student English Honours is the best course to choose. All the best!

Internships Opportunities

3

Every year the placement cell Organize the placement fair, where different kind of companies come and recruits the students, recruitment and cv shortlisting happend always.so yaa I think the intership opportunities are there for sure.

Fees and Financial Aid

The year wise fees is very less and affordable, every semester only we have to pay the examination fees and nothing else . If I talk about category wise fees ,so in this also there is not much difference. SC/ST category students have to pay only a 1000 less ruppees as compared to general category students.

Campus Life

3

My overall experience with campus life is good, social aspects are overall good and infra is good, the annual cultural fest is also the best I can say of the women's college.the vibe of the annual cultural fest was on top and there are departmental wise fest also ,they are legit of so much fun and the library is also very good and it is very big and I really love my college library.and the college societies are also good ,they all are active , enthusiasm is there in everybody to run the society ahead always.

Admission

See since the admission process of Delhi University is totally based on CUET scores,so it's totally depends on how much good you score, the more score you get, automatically there will be a high chances of getting good college and North Campus basically, but yaa make sure that it depends on your preference list as well or I can say more ratio is of preference list alone coz at the end that matters is your preference list, sometimes it happens like suppose if you got such a good score in cuet but you wasn't able to make your preference list good.so on that you might be ended up by just getting a normal college of Delhi University,so make sure to work on both the things Score and next preference list. And If I talk about kamala Nehru College,so it is best college for English Honours, course is best , faculty is best, crowd is good, environment is positive and infra is good.

Faculty

4

See,If I talk about English Department,so it's faculty is like superb! They are supportive, understanding, and friendly they are most importantly ????.they understands students and they help them as well to understand each and every thing.and about end term semester exam also ,they are not like the ones who's main motive is to frighten the students about exams, rather than this they seeks or focus on giving each and every single tip ,that one student should have for their semester exam.so yaa I guess,I got the best faculty ever.

Night Life

2

In my college there is gym , cafeteria is there and cafetaria is totally safe even if I am in college around 5 or 6 p.m. and the locality around my college is like super busy road ( main road ) so I don't think so that there will be any such problem.the auto are always available there.even when our annual cultural fest happened to it ended around 8:00 p.m. so at that time also the locality was okay safe .

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities are mainly for commerce stream departments but the humanities stream also are offered internship from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and Home ministry. There are many private companies that come to offer placements. The students from 3rd year in particular apply for internships. The highest package iffered is 500000 and the average is 250000. About 45% students get placements. My plan after getting the degree is to go for higher studies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As a future law student philosophy was one of the options which was good to opt. Secondly, comparatively less people opt it and it can be one of the better choices if you are preparing for upsc and taking it as an optional. Teaching can be made more interactive as the topics are really interesting

Remarks:

Positive : the faculties are good and I could say our college is the meeting place of various cultures ranging from Kerala to jammukashmir Negative: the infrastructure is poor. Labs and libraries are not so good. And there are stray dogs who often steps into classes and make us afraid. College is not fully air conditioned but is on processing.
