Documents Required for GATE 2027: How to Upload Photograph in GATE Registration Form?

Candidates need to upload a photograph of the correct size and format, or else their GATE registration 2027 may be cancelled. Guidelines for GATE 2027 Photograph

• Upload a clear colour scanned photograph with a passport size of (3.5 cm width × 4.5 cm height) and face covering around 60-70% of the photograph.
• Ensure that the background of the photograph is white and does not contain any other objects or persons.
• The photograph must show the front face looking directly into the camera and must show the forehead, eyes, nose, and chin.
• A photograph can be in JPEG/JPG format and have a file size between 5 kB and 600 kB.

Type of Photograph Not Acceptable for GATE Registration 2027

The following photographs are not acceptable for GATE Registration 2027:

• The face in the photograph must not be covered with objects such as caps, hats, sunglasses, colored glasses, etc.
• The face must be clearly visible and not covered by any cloth or shadow.
• Head coverings are not permitted except for religious reasons, but the facial features from the bottom of the chin to the top of the forehead must be clearly shown.

Documents Required for GATE 2027: How to Upload Signature in GATE Registration Form?

• Upload an image of your signature in JPEG/JPG format. The area of the signature must cover 70-80% of the image.
• The signature file size must be between 3 kB and 300 kB, and it should be in black or dark blue colour ink only.
• If the candidate’s signature does not match the signature at the time of the examination, the applicant could be disqualified.
• Must be signed by the applicant only.
• The maximum resolution is 580 × 180 pixels, and the minimum resolution is 250 × 80 pixels.

While filling the application form, you require the following data:

• The name of the candidate in the application form must be the same as that in the valid photo ID.
