Key Factors Influencing GATE 2025 Cutoff
- Number of GATE 2025 qualifiers: More high scorers can push cutoffs upward.
- Available M.Tech seats: Seat matrix remains similar to last year, with ~30 seats in most disciplines.
- Exam difficulty level: A tougher GATE paper typically lowers cutoffs, and vice versa.
- Category-wise reservations: Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, OBC-NCL, EWS and PwD have lower cutoffs proportional to the General cutoff.
Candidates must have a valid GATE 2025 score and meet DTU’s minimum academic requirements (≥60% in qualifying degree or equivalent CGPA) to be considered in the General category.
