The GATE 2026 Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering (NM) exam Slot 2 Question Paper with Solution PDF will be available. The exam is was conducted on February 8th, Afternoon Session (AN) from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM.
The NM exam will be held in CBT mode with a total of 65 questions. There will be two sections: General Aptitude (GA) with a total of 15 marks and Core Subject (NM) with 85 marks. The exam will be held for a total of 100 marks.
According to the analysis done on previous years’ question papers, the GATE NM question paper is supposed to be moderate to difficult. Candidates who will attempt 50 to 60 questions with around 80 - 90% accuracy are considered to be safe. It can help them to score around 65-70 marks out of 100 which is considered to be safe and good.
