The question paper for the GATE 2026 Geology and Geophysics (GG) with solution pdf will be available here after the exam. The Geology and Geophysics paper is scheduled for February 7th on slot 1 from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM.
The GG question paper consists of 3 sections. The Aptitude and Common section is compulsory. For the other section candidates can choose either Geology or Geophysics. Out of 100 marks, 15 marks come from general aptitude, and 85 marks are from the core subjects.
Based on the previous year’s analysis, the GG paper is expected to be moderately difficult. To get around 70 marks out of 100, you need to attempt 50-55 questions with high accuracy.
