JEE Main 2025 Session 2 Paper 1 (B.E/B.Tech) toppers list has been released along with the results on April 19, 2025. In JEE Main Session 2, a total of 24 candidates have achieved 100 NTA score, majority of the toppers are from Rajasthan. In JEE Main 2025 Session 2 Paper 1(B.E/B.Tech), a huge gender gap has been seen, with about 68.7% male and 31.3% female candidates out of nearly 9.9 lakh candidates.

In JEE Main 2025 Session 2, the perfect NTA score of 100 was secured by two candidates for B.Arch – Pratham Alpesh Prajapati and Patne Neel Sandesh and three candidates for B.Plan – Gautam Kannapiran, Tarun Rawat, and Sunidhi Singh.

JEE Main 2025 Session 2 Paper 1 Category-wise Toppers

In the JEE Main 2025 Session 2 (Paper 1 - B.E./B.Tech), there were a total of 21 candidates from the General Category who achieved a 100 NTA score; only one candidate, Vangala Ajay Reddy from Telangana, scored 100 in the General-EWS category.

In the OBC-NCL category, Daksh from Delhi has secured a top position. Shreyas Lohiya of Uttar Pradesh topped the SC category with a 100 NTA score, while Parth Sehra from Rajasthan scored a perfect 100 in the ST category.

In the PwD category, Harshal Gupta from Chhattisgarh has scored 99.96 from 100.

JEE Advanced 2025 Eligibility Cut-off Percentile

The JEE Advanced 2025 Eligibility cutoff percentile has been released with the declaration of JEE Main 2025 Session 2 Paper 1 Result. The General Category (UR-ALL) has the highest cutoff of 93.102 percentile, resulting in high competition in the open category. For EWS and the OBC, the cut-offs are 80.38 and 79.43, respectively.

The SC/ST will have the cutoffs of 61.5 and 47.90, respectively, and the ST will have a much lower cutoff percentile.

UR-PwBD cutoff is extremely low at 0.0079 percentile to be eligible for JEE Advanced.

In JEE Main 2025 Session 2, around 10 lakh candidates are expected to appear for the exam which will also increase the competition level as well. In the Session-1 of JEE Main 2025 around 13.11 lakh candidates registered for the exam from which around 12.58 lakh students appeared for the exam which resulted in the attendance rate of 94.5% also a total of 14 students secured a perfect 100 percentile.

Who is the topper of JEE Main 2025?

JEE Main 2025 Session 1 toppers list features 14 aspirants who received a perfect 100 percentile. They include Ayush Singhal from Rajasthan, Kushagra Gupta from Karnataka, and Daksh from Delhi to name a few of the high scorers.

A few other candidates have scored a full 300/300 marks as well in the examination.

How to see rank in JEE Mains 2025?

Students can view their rank in JEE Main 2025 on official website jeemain.nta.nic.in through login using the application number and date of birth.

The NTA percentile score will be considered for determining All India Rank (AIR), and for candidates who appear in both sessions, their highest percentile shall be utilized to rank.

NTA has officially announced the All India Rank (AIR) 1 for JEE Main 2025 Session 1.  Ayush Singhal from Rajasthan has secured a perfect score of 300/300 in JEE Main 2025 Session 1, making him the AIR 1.

JEE Main 2024 B.E/B.Tech Toppers

In JEE Main 2024 B.E/B.Tech Paper, most of the 100 NTA Score achievers were male. JEE Main 2024 Session 2 had 54 male and only 2 female candidates, while Session 1 had 23 male and no female candidates.

Category-Wise Analysis of Toppers for JEE Main 2024 Paper 1 Toppers

In JEE Main 2024 Session 1, the General category had 24 toppers, all scoring a perfect 100 while the Gen-EWS category had 2 toppers, both with a NTA score of 100. The OBC-(NCL) category had 4 toppers, all scoring 100.

For the SC category, there was 1 topper with a score of 99.9906591, and the ST category also had 1 topper, Jagannadham Mohith, who scored 100. The PwD category had 1 topper, Chunchikala Sreecharan, with a score of 99.98729.

JEE Main 2024 Paper 2 Toppers

In the JEE Main 2024 B.Arch. and B.Planning exams, a total of 99086 candidates had registered in both session 1 and 2. Of these, 71,009 appeared for the exam and 4 have scored a perfect 100 percentile in the exam and many candidates scoring above 99 across different categories and states.

In B.Arch., Muthu R (Tamil Nadu) and Sulagna Basack (Jharkhand) scored a perfect NTA score of 100, while in B.Planning, Kolasani Saketh Pranav (Andhra Pradesh) and Arun Radhakrishnan (Karnataka) secured 100.

Male candidates had the highest scores, but female candidates also performed well. Rudrani Umesh Sharma from Maharashtra was the top female scorer in B.Arch. with 99.9981, while Himanshi Mishra from Delhi led in B.Planning with 99.99598.

Candidates from Andhra Pradesh performed strongly in both General and OBC-NCL categories in B.Planning, while Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra, Karnataka, and Delhi too had many high scorers. Many reserved category candidates also did well, with Boda Prabanjan Jadav and Banoth Rithwak (Telangana, ST) scoring 99.8798 in B.Arch. and Jonathan Sinkam M Sangma (Tamil Nadu, ST) scoring 98.6332 in B.Planning.

Meet Delhi Boy Nishant Agarwal who scored 100 in JEE Main 2020 (Paper 1)

Nishant Agarwal belongs to Delhi NCR and topped JEE Main 2020 with a 100 NTA score. He is a student from the New Sainik Public School in Dwarka. As reported by Hindustan Times, Nishant said “My goal was to score full marks. I have been highly motivated by my peer group at my coaching institute. They have been an inspiration at being the best in whatever we do”.

Meet JEE Main Topper Chagari Koushal Kumar Reddy

Chagari Koushal Kumar Reddy is a student of Sri Chaitanya and a KVPY scholar. He has also been selected for the National Olympiads. In an interview, he says, “ I found the exam a little tougher than what I was expecting, but overall it was moderate in difficulty level. Meet Akhil Jain who secured a perfect 100 NTA score in the first attempt

Akhil Jain has topped from Rajasthan and secured a perfect 100 NTA score in JEE Main 2020. As specified in Indian Express, 18-year old Akhil believes in taking one step at a time. Rather than celebrating his success, he has decided to concentrate on JEE Advanced and then, on the basis of the result, he will plan his next move. Jain qualified the exam in his first attempt and unlike many aspirants, he has no plans to re-appear for April JEE Main.

MEET JEE Main Topper Parth Dwivedi

Parth Dwivedi belongs to Bharatpur, Rajasthan. As stated by Times Now News, Parth’s Strategy for the exam was to give equal time to all three subjects i.e. Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. His major focus was on strengthening his weak topics and he took help from his teachers for the same. He also said that “I never missed any of my classes and used to study for three to four hours every day”. Parth’s father Vineet Dwivedi is an officer in Railways while mother Niti Dwivedi is Additional SP in Lucknow. Apart from studies, Parth also has an interest in guitar and movies.
