JEE Main 2025 Exam Centers List is now available, NTA is providing 284 exam centers in India and 14 outside India to accomodate students. The National Testing Agency (NTA) has made it easier for JEE Main 2025 Session 2 candidates to choose their exam centers. During the JEE Main 2025 Session 2 registration, candidates can now see the full list of exam cities and choose their preferences. Candidates can now view the entire list of JEE Main exam cities 2025 and select their preferences during the JEE Main 2025 Session 2 registration process. During JEE Main 2025 registration, NTA provides a choice to choose any four exam cities.

Students can find the list on the official JEE Main website, jeemain.nta.nic.in. They will find a link named "Registration for JEE (Main) 2025 Session-2" in the homepage's "Candidate Activity" section. Users will be taken to the JEE Main 2025 Session 2 registration website after clicking the link. On that page, they should click on 'view examination cities' under the 'Steps to apply online' box. Then, they should select their country, state, and language, solve the captcha, and click on the ‘Proceed’ button. A list of exam cities will appear, and students can choose four cities in order of their preference.

How to Check Your Allotted JEE Main Exam Center?
Candidates can check their exam center by downloading the City Intimation Slip from the official website. To access your City Intimation Slip for JEE Main, visit the official website at jeemain.nta.nic.in and click on the "City Intimation Slip" link. Log in using your application number and password or date of birth. Once logged in, you can view and download the slip, which will provide details of your allotted city and exam center. Please note that the exact address of the exam center will be mentioned on the admit card, which will be available closer to the exam date.
Can I change my Exam Center once it is allotted?
No, once the exam center is allocated for JEE Main, candidates cannot change it. The exam center is assigned based on the preferences provided during the application process, and once the City Intimation Slip is released, it is final. If there are any serious issues such as natural calamities or other extraordinary circumstances, the National Testing Agency (NTA) may take corrective action, but candidates do not have the option to manually request a change of exam center.
JEE Main Exam Centres 2025: Documents to Carry
It is mandatory to present the following items at JEE Main Exam Centres 2025
- Print copy of JEE Main 2025 Admit Card downloaded from NTA’s website.
- One passport size photograph (same as uploaded on the Online Application Form) should be taken for pasting on the specific space in the attendance sheet at Centres during the examination.
- Anyone of the authorized photo IDs (must be original, valid and non-expired) – PAN card/ Driving License/ Voter ID/ Passport/ Aadhaar Card (With photograph)/E-Aadhaar with photograph/ Ration Card with photograph/ 12th Class Board Admit Card with photograph/ Bank Passbook with Photograph.
- PwD certificate issued by the authorized medical officer, if claiming the relaxation under PwD category.
Prohibited Items at JEE Main 2025 Exam Centres
There are few things/ objects that are prohibited at the examination venue. They are as follows:
- Instrument/ Geometry/ Pencil box, Handbag, Purse, any kind of Paper/ Stationery/ Textual material (printed or written material)
- Eatables and Water (loose or packed)
- Mobile Phone/ Earphone/ Microphone/ Pager, Calculator, DocuPen, Slide Rules, Log Tables, Camera, Tape Recorder, to wear/carry any type of watch including Electronic Watches with facilities of calculator, any metallic item or electronic gadgets/ devices in the Examination Hall/Room
- Rough Paper – candidates are provided with sheets for rough work and hence NTA does not allow any type of paper inside the exam hall.
- Stationary – candidates will be provided with all the required stationery like Blue/ Black ballpoint pens at the exam Centres only.
Important Note:
- NTA will not be responsible for any belongings stolen or lost at the premises.
- If any candidate is in possession of any of the above item, his/her candidature will be treated as unfair means and his/her current examination will be canceled & he/she will also be debarred for future examination(s) & the equipment will be seized.
What is the dress code for JEE?
The dress code for JEE Main is designed to ensure a smooth and secure examination process. Here are the key guidelines:
- General Guidelines:
- Candidates must wear comfortable clothes.
- Light clothes with half sleeves are recommended. Avoid wearing clothes with large buttons, pockets, or fancy embellishments.
- Footwear should be simple and comfortable. Slip-on sandals or open-toed shoes are advisable.
- Avoid wearing shoes with thick soles, and metallic items like belts, jewelry, or watches are strictly prohibited.

- Metallic ornaments such as jewelry, chains, rings, or watches.

- Clothes with large pockets or slippers that may have metal components.
- Electronic gadgets such as mobile phones, smartwatches, or calculators.
These rules are intended to maintain the integrity of the exam and ensure that there are no security concerns during the test.
JEE Main 2025 Exam Day Guidelines
Other than bringing along your JEE Main 2025 required documents there are many other minor things which one needs to keep in mind.
- Report at the Centres two hours before the commencement of exam so as to complete the frisking and registration formalities well before the time.
- The registration desk will be closed 60 minutes prior to the examination.
- Candidates shall not be permitted to enter the Examination Centres after 8:30 a.m. in the first shift and after 1:30 p.m. in the second shift.
- Read the instructions on the admit card carefully and follow them during the conduct of the examination.
- Take the seat immediately after the opening of the exam hall.
- Candidates failing to report in time due to any reason i.e. traffic jam, train/bus delay etc., they are likely to miss some of the general instructions to be announced in the exam hall. The NTA shall not be responsible for any delay
- Attendance sheets must be signed in the presence of the invigilator.

Candidates who wish to appear for JEE Main need to keep in mind not only general guidelines but measures for Coronavirus as well.
- As per government guidelines candidates need to be seated at a distance of one meter from each other.
- Candidates need to wear face masks without which entry can be restricted.
- Appropriate social distancing measures will be taken while checking ID proof and verification before entry, thus candidates need to be patient.
- It is advisable to carry hand sanitiser to constantly disinfect.
- Making large groups or arriving at the test Centres with multiple people should be avoided.
