JEE Main NIT cutoff 2026 will be published by JoSAA on the official website at josaa.nic.in. After each round of JoSAA counselling 2026, you can check the JEE Main NIT cutoff for each course and institute.

• As per last year’s JEE Main NIT cutoff, NIT Trichy has the highest cutoff for CSE with a closing rank of 1104 for the open category.
• Other NITs with the highest cutoff for CSE include NIT Warangal (2135), NIT Surathkal (2726), and so on.
• NITs with the lowest JEE Main cutoff include NIT Mizoram, NIT Srinagar, NIT Sikkim, NIT Manipur, etc. Each of these institutes has a JEE Main closing rank of greater than 1,50,000 for CSE for the open category.

Before appearing for the JEE Main counselling 2026, you must get a rank greater than the JEE Main cutoff rank. For the open category, the expected qualifying rank is around 30,000 or less, and for OBC candidates, it is around 30,000 to 40,000.
