Honesty is the best policy.

Likes

Inclusivity. There is zero racism in my college and inclusive of everyone.
Admin office. The admin office is patient and very helpful.
Canteen. Great hygiene, cheap rates and overall taste

Dislikes

the infrastructure can be better. there has been constructions but still not completed
I heard from hostellers, the curfew is 7:00pm. This can be extended till 9:00pm
The classroom can be cleaner but often it’s not

Placement Experience:

From the 5th sem the placement starts. Our college have a placement cell and the recruiters are Big four firms like KPMG, delloite etc Recent data update says it is around 6.47 lakhs to 6.5 lakhs and highest went till 23 lakhs if im not wrong. Students with CGPA 7.5 and above get to sit in the placement. My plan is simple, to make money.

Drc provides best career opportunities

Likes

From diverse people to friendly staff and opportunity to work in great enviroment is what drc offers.
there are specific societies in our college which provide us real life projects to work on.
all the classrooms in our college have smart boards and recently acs have been installed in all our classes and thus the classrooms make us feel like home.

Dislikes

Canteen food is very expensive and therefore for my meals i usually prefer outside.

Our placement cell Riddhi, doesnt just offers placements but also help us in providing various internships. A proper placement fest called incrementum is organised in our college to make sure maximum students benefit out of it. Last year companies like icici, hdfc bank, delloite and others provided direct campus placements to the students of our college. On an average Bcom hons students got a paycheck of 5-6 lakhs.

Daulat Ram college- real life experience

Since it is a women's college, the vibe in the campus in different. It brings up a vibe of community and free expression around all the girls. Many women centric initiatives are seen in the campus like period care, skincare, self defense etc.
The campus life is enriching as DRC has many cultural clubs that are quite active. The peer group is high quality. Meals, events, keep taking place every now and then. Quite a fun experience to be in the college year around.
The course of b.com hons although rigorous, is going to help develop a strong backing for higher courses and help back you with confidence in public speaking skills, presentation skills, research and excel skills.

Dislikes

The placement opportunities if can be improved will be a great addition.
The campus is compact but now the new buildings are being built and used so it is an improvement.
The faculty should try and incorporate more with the students on a personal level.

From the 3rd year, the students become eligible to participate in placement. The placement cell is available in the college. But the number of placements is a little less as compared to other north campus colleges. Many companies have come for placement and internship. But many students prefer CA,CFA or other professional courses or MBA for higher studies. I plan to give CAT for MBA after my course gets over.

Likes

Environment is so welcoming and friendly
I like the fest of our college personally
Well structured and still developing beautifully

Dislikes

Not having badminton court is my biggest disliked
Due to continuous construction there is noise pollution
Societies are not that much active i feel personally

Placement Experience:

As I am 1st year student i don't know much about it but most probably placement starts in third year. Well known companies reach out to our college for placement. Avg package would be around 6-7 lpa. 80% of our students easily get placed. My plan is to open a business in my upcoming future.

A Day scholar's take on DRC life

Likes

Our teachers, faculty and seniors are very nice and helpful.
Since our college is for girls, it feels very safe.
There is wide range of courses and active student societies.

Dislikes

Campus is not too big and Infrastructure can be upgraded.
placement opportunities are limited and the package offered are also not very impressive .
There aren't enough seating area in the campus.

At Daulat Ram College students become eligible for campus placements in the final year. About 40–50 companies visit annually offering roles in IT, finance, analytics, and marketing. Highest packages reach ?23?LPA, averages ?6–6.5?LPA. Placement rates vary 5–24%, with top recruiters including Accenture, Wipro, Deloitte, DE?Shaw, KPMG, ICICI, and HDFC. After completing my degree my main goal is to secure a good placement that aligns with my skills and interests.

Daulat Ram College is a girls’ college, so the campus has only female students. Interaction with boys happens mainly during inter-college events, fests, competitions, and workshops with other DU colleges.
The faculty is very experienced, friendly, and supportive. Teachers explain topics clearly and keep classes interactive through discussions, presentations, workshops, and tests. They also guide students for exams, projects, and career-related doubts.
The college offers internships and placement opportunities, mainly for commerce students. Many students get internships during the course. The average package is around 6.5 LPA, and the placement cell provides guidance and support.

Dislikes

The campus infrastructure is average and needs improvement. Some areas look old and facilities are limited. Compared to other DU colleges, the campus is not very attractive or modern.
Campus life is not very vibrant as it is a girls’ college. Daily college life feels routine, and the overall energy is less compared to co-ed colleges, despite having events and fests.
The course is more theory-based. Although presentations are given, more practical learning and real-world exposure would be helpful. Students mostly depend on internships for skill development.

Placement Experience:

Students in my college can go for placements starting from 5th semester . many big companies including big four (4 ) visit the campus .The highest package was 23.5 lpa and median and avg package is 6.5 lpa .Most students who have got placements are 7 cgpa or above . Companies also provide intership opportunities for better placemnets .We also get guidance from resume building ,interviews and preparation .After finishing my degree I aim for placements and afterwards CAT forIIM's .

THIS IS A GIRLS COLLEGE SO THE COLLEGE IS PROMOTING GIRLS EDUCATION ALSO BECAUSE ONLY GIRLS ARE THE THE ENVIRONMENT IS VERY COMFORTABLE AND WARMING
THE COLLEGE HAS WIDE VARIETY OF COURSES TO OFFER IT OFFER COURSES IN EVERY STREAM SCIENCE COMMERCE AND ARTS

INFRASTRUCTURE IS VERY POOR CLASS ARE VERY LESS AND ROOMS AND VERY LITTLE SPACE SOMETIMES I ROOM ISN'T ABLE TO ACCOMODATE FULL CLASS
THE NON TEACHING STAFF IS VERY POOR THEY DON'T RESOLVE STUDENT'S QUERY AND OFTEN GO ON STRIKE EVEN AT EXAMS TIME THEY WERE NOT LISTENING TO QUERIES
COLLEGE'S FEES IS QUITE HIGH COMPARED TO OTHER COLLEGES WHERE OTHER COLLEGES as offering same course at 20 to 30 thousand this college charges around 35000 for this bcom honours

Drc a cozy space

Likes

The campus is very cozy and aesthetically pleasing
The new building is definitely one of my favourite
New canteen food is bomb each and every item is good

Dislikes

The infrastructure could be better than it is
The auditorium is big but lack basic facilities, renovation should be done
Classrooma are too tiny and also the seating arrangement of chairs

I think the curriculum needs to be restructured as the nep policy was about enhancing the course experience but I don't see that anywhere including the newly introduced sec ,vac ,aec I think they are not up to the point and doesn't make much sense

Drc campus life

Likes

I like the north campus enviornment and the campus life
Being the girls college drc also gives lot of opportunities to express yourself and feels like a safe place
The faculty is great for my department they are quite supportive

Dislikes

It's become quite hectic in terms of classes and attendance criteria

Fun and average sometimes

Likes

The fests are really good. They are very fun.
Management is good. We do not face these issues with the management.
Timetable is not that bad like other colleges

Dislikes

Canteen not that good. The food tastes awful sometimes
They really need to step up with their infrastructure
Air conditioners are really needed. I feel suffocated during exam time bcz it’s really crowded there .

Placement Experience:

We have placements fairs in our college and it is mostly offered to all the courses and to students of all the years. But most of them are for bcom h or eco honours students. There are internships for 1st yearies too but most of them wants 2nd or 3rd year students.
