Course Curriculum Overview

BCom (Hons) curriculum is highly relevant and fairly comprehensive, with strong papers in accounting, business law, economics and taxation that influenced my decision to choose this course because they align well with careers in finance and professional exams like CA and CS. It builds solid conceptual foundations for further studies and real-world roles, but practical exposure through internships, accounting software and case studies should be increased, along with more interactive, discussion-based teaching. Exams are usually held each semester; they are moderately difficult because of the wide syllabus and tight schedule, which demand consistent preparation and good time management.

Internships Opportunities

As I am 1st year student so til now I haven't applied to any of the internship but I am in placement cell code there they provide plenty of internship opportunities for us which really makes them standout. Overall it is gud in providing internship

Placement Experience

As I am 1st year student i don't know much about it but most probably placement starts in third year. Well known companies reach out to our college for placement. Avg package would be around 6-7 lpa. 80% of our students easily get placed. My plan is to open a business in my upcoming future.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes the course is affordable, my fees is 34600 for 1 yr, course Bcom hons. It is increasing reasonably, so no problem. There are lot of scholarship provided by institutions but I haven't applied become of inadequate documents.

Campus Life

The major fest of our college is Manjari which is of 3 days . Library has plenty of books but it lacks latest novel and self help books. Classrooms are average not too fancy and not too broken. They offer lot of sports but they lack in tennis court, badminton court, basketball court and swimming pool

Admission

I have applied for various colleges including North Campus South Campus and off campus. I got admission in Daulat Ram college north campus on the basis of my CUET exam. I don't get other colleges because of their cut off is high. Procedure would be like - firt the allotment would be done then colleges verify the documents then fee payment thats it.

Faculty

Faculties are gud and supportive, and approachable too. They always consider our request. My Fav faculty would be Himanshu sir because he always make teaching more interesting with his weird jokes I have 7 exams including additionals. DSC are really tough

Night Life

I can't make any comment on night life as I am not in hostel but my fav place to hangout would be garden and sports ground and I also love my canteen area. Generally the place around the campus is always safe.

Hands On experience !!

Placement Experience:

Students in my college can go for placements starting from 5th semester . many big companies including big four (4 ) visit the campus .The highest package was 23.5 lpa and median and avg package is 6.5 lpa .Most students who have got placements are 7 cgpa or above . Companies also provide intership opportunities for better placemnets .We also get guidance from resume building ,interviews and preparation .After finishing my degree I aim for placements and afterwards CAT forIIM's .

A beautiful memory

Course Curriculum Overview:

I will rate the daulat ram course 8/10. One of the main reasons i chose this course was that the syllabus felt balanced between theory and practical understanding..but the only drawback is that sometimes it felt a bit more theory based rather than practical exposure , the exam pattern is consistent mid-sem internals and end-sem finals twice a year. Internals are usually manageable, but end-semester exams depend a lot on the teacher marking style.

SRCC- Asia's Best college experience

Placement Experience:

Students of 3rd year are eligible for the same. Mckinsey, BCG, Bain, Blackrock, Meesho etc being the most prestigious recruiters. Highest package varies, but it went around 36 L last year. Avg being around 8 L. I would say most students who apply for placements get placed, however only a few get placed in the top companies. I personally wish to pursue an MBA.

I choose this college over other because it's a government and central university. Means it fees is a lot less as compared to private colleges. Moreover it provides more exposure as compared to other colleges . And the crowd , I think there is competition so I will meet more dedicated ambitions people.
