Course Curriculum Overview

5

I've always wanted to study psychology and have been intrigued by the subject in particular. The courses curriculum that they teach here alligns with what i had in mind. They prepare us very well for the real world and aligns with my furthee academic pursuits as well

Internships Opportunities

4

Our college have a range of different intership opportunities and have connections with companies like Accenture, Wipro, Deloitte, KPMG, ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank, DE Shaw, Genpact, S&P Global the placements spans from sectors like Finance, Consulting, IT, and Marketing, these roles are offered through the active placement cell our college also partners with organizations like Tata, Zomato, and RBI for internships, providing students diverse career opportunities during and after the graduation.

Placement Experience

2

The placements that happen in our college is not really relevant to my course. My course is more health and medical focused as it is in psychology. The placements that happen here is more of the other courses like Bcom honors and programs

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure per year for my course is 34,000 for me from the SC category and would be paying that for the coming years, other students in my class from general categories pay fees ranging from 35,000 to 39,000. There are college scholarship available and other national and regional scholarships for fee reduction, or complete aid and students can give forms for it.

Campus Life

5

The campus life is very vibrant here in DRC with various societies organising different things daily. The fests here are also very vibrant and are typically held after exms or during the festive season like diwali. The sports Complex is very large with the ground accommodating various sports and the gym is also free to use by the students. The library has a range of different books relevant to different courses and we can always find what we want in our college library

Admission

This college is under the University of delhi and they have a totally different method of choosing their students as compared to other private colleges or universities. Here we apply to all the colleges under DU from our choice according to the course that we want to take. We will nake a list of those colleges fron the most favorable one to non favorable ones according to our choice. Each of these college have their own criteria to accept students, from different no. of seats in each category to their cut off marks. I was selected according to my marks and this college was on 7th of my list.

Faculty

5

The psychology faculty of our college is really good with the teachers being very efficient and reliable. I also love their teaching styles and methods and they make sure that none of their classes are boring.

Night Life

4

The best hangout spot inside the campus is of course the canteen. We have varieties of food there in the canteen and they make them very affordable too as we are students. The garden is also a favorite spot to hang out and you could always see people sitting under the sun doing various activities ranging to taking a nap, to talking, to reading or even making social media content. There are small shops just outside the campus that also sells food that are not available in our main campus and it is also one of the favorite spot of the students ro hangout. The campus is very safe to roam around during night time too however its not that safe when you step out of the campus.

Course Curriculum Overview:

It DU, so i think for many students it comes down to if you are able to make it to cutt off list. So my decision was based on it. I cleared the cutt off list for english hons so i took it. I wanted to make my way for govt job, so it was all about getting a degree regardless of what subject i was getting. I think curriculum just make you educated enough to get to know but its the college life that make you come face to face with the real world. exams every 6 months i.e every semester i think its good.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really like Human Geography which let me to opt for this paper. Besides theory papers, we also have practical papers every semester through which we conduct surveys, interviews, research which helps us in preparing for the real world applications as well as further academic pursuits if we want to go in the field of Remote sensing or GIS. I feel that for papers including research or management, we should be showcasing how we can mitigate them or adapt in such scenarios and also make drafts for writing a research for further pursuits. However, as the time is limited it is quite understandable as to why its not conducted. We have two exams in a year and they are quite relevant and easy
