Very big reason to choose this college is that its in north campus. And this was the only northcampus college I got admission into. And this was the only clg I opt for. Admission in this college is through CUET only. So for that you have to appear for Cuet.

I applied to all the colleges in DU in which I could have a chance as per my percentage in class 12th. I always wanted to get into DU college and that too in North campus. I was getting options in South Campus but I wanted to go for North Campus.

Daulat ram college is one of the best girls college in north campus. The admission process is so easy , you have to give cuet exam and then clear it then you have to prepare a preference list . Then a seat allocated to accordingly.

I specifically opted for DRC because its NIRF ranking is really good plus its in north campus. North campus actually contains that aura to do something new and happening. There are lot of opportunities to grab. Other than that i got admission into variety of colleges in south campus as well as in PGGC of punjab university. But i chose this college because of the Zoology department faculty as well. Which is really great and thats what i have been told by my seniors as well. The admission process was quite easy at my time. But now the admission is through CUET-UG and you have to clear the cut off to get admission.

I have also applied for University of Lucknow and BHU and got selected but prefer to get admission in DRC because of the diversity of the students in the college and also the faculty and college environment is preferable over other colleges. In order to get admission one have to give CUET. There are different cut offs for different courses such as for bcom hons. The cut off is 760 for gen category and for political science Hons. is 750.

I have given CUET exams ,on the basis of this exam I get into daulat ram college . I had applied for many college of Delhi University which comes under North campus area. But my marks were not fulfilled the criteria of other colleges. But I get this in first round and don't want to take risk so freeze my results and take admission in this college. This college also comes under the north campus area and mainly it is a women's college.

As since last year students don't have choice in choosing their college as they are directly alloted on the csas pratal. after that there are two options avilable to a students either to freeze their allotment or upgrade it.

So according to the process of allotment of university of delhi..first you have to give your cuet exam to get a seat in university of delhi at csas portal ..after the result you have to fill a preference list of the colleges of du and then according to your score and preference list you would be alloted a college. The college allotment is done in 3 phases. Round 1 in which you are alloted a seat only if you have cleared the cut off of the college and then by paying fees you have to freeze your seat and then if u wish to upgrade you can in other 2 rounds. You can also get admission through eca quota or ncc and all. So for bcom program the cut off for drc would be 730 to 745 around.for general category 650 around for obc and 500 around for sc/st category
