Fun and average sometimes

Likes

The fests are really good. They are very fun.
Management is good. We do not face these issues with the management.
Timetable is not that bad like other colleges

Dislikes

Canteen not that good. The food tastes awful sometimes
They really need to step up with their infrastructure
Air conditioners are really needed. I feel suffocated during exam time bcz it’s really crowded there .

Placement Experience:

We have placements fairs in our college and it is mostly offered to all the courses and to students of all the years. But most of them are for bcom h or eco honours students. There are internships for 1st yearies too but most of them wants 2nd or 3rd year students.

Likes

The seniors are very helpful. They make it easier to adapt to the college.
The teachers are quite approachable. Easy doubt clarification possible.
Fest and events take place on regular intervals making college engaging.

Dislikes

The college lacks a little in infrastructure. Sometimes it is difficult to find rooms for classes.

Placement Experience:

Around 50% students are provided placements after the completion of the course. I personally am pursuing CA right now and would not be using the benefits of placement provided by the college. The college students gets places at very big firms such as Deloitte, KPMG, etc.

Know your dream College

Likes

The front lawn the best place in winters.
Library is very nice and fully air conditioned with good lighting.
Sports complex with gym facilities with no extra charges.

Dislikes

Canteen needs serious improvement in food quality and also improved and cleaner sitting area.
Infra needs a little of improvement otherwise its good
The gate no. 1 should also be opened for entry.

From 2nd year you are eligible for internships. There are many companies that give placements to Daulat Ram Students don't know much about the placements being a freshers but they are good. The highest package was 21 lacs per annum and average package is 6 lacs per annum. I am also pursuing a professional degree with B Com. After that i will go for placement .

It starts in February. Takes around 4-5 days. It has around 80+ placement in last session. Accenture, Planetspark are most bulk that hire students. Recently the highest is 23.03 lakh And the average is 6 lakh

Likes

The students and the staff are friendly in nature.
Infrastructure and the campus facilities are fine.
The college is Good clean and green and is tidy.

Dislikes

There is a slight delay when it comes to syllabus completion.
Lack of transport availability near college.
More development is needed in canteen areas.

Placement Experience:

There are various companies like ICICI, Wipro, HDFC etc which come to college for placement opportunities. The students of 2nd and 3rd year are eligible for placements. My plans after degree include for doing a professional course.

DRC: Blend of Pros and cons

Teachers were very supportive and kind. Always there to help you
Library was really big and had books for almost every subject
The front lawn like you can sit there for whole day😅.

Dislikes

Commerce department was under construction So we don’t attend a single class in our department
Rest I guess everything was fine for me.
No outsiders were allowed Ig that some days students from other college should be allowed

Placement Experience:

When you reach in 3rd year you became eligible for Placements. There are N no of companies visiting with good package like deliotee, KPMG ,WTW etc Higest package offered at our time was 25lakh. Around 40% got placed. I also got placed but I have yo purse my masters so didn't join the company.

An experience for life

Likes

The location of the college was the thing that I liked the most. It was in North campus amongst other renowned colleges so it was a good campus.
The library was very good and had all the books related to everything.

Dislikes

The canteen was not so good. The food was not good.
The building were not good. It was always under construction.

Placement Experience:

The placement was not so good. I personally wanted Articleship opportunities and thought that as a North Campus college there would come Big4s as they were coming in other colleges. But no such companies came for any such opportunities.

Exploring Academics and beyond at Daulat Ram college

Likes

The college environment is very holistic and calming.
The faculty and seniors will help to guide you throughout the time period and will be available at your request.
The college offers various societies to be a part of to enhance student engagement and learn from them.

Dislikes

The college infrastructure could be a little better like classes can be well maintained.
Some facilities like clean drinking water and maintenance of washrooms could add more to the student hygiene.

Placement Experience:

After completing the 5 semester students become eligible for campus placements. The college offers campus placements and is visited by renowned companies. The college has a highest package of 23 lakhs for the year 2024 and 90+ students get placed in companies. My plans after graduation is to do an MBA for that I will give CAT in my final year of the graduation.

Likes

Campus areas are good offer a typical college vibe.
Some faculties are genuinely helping and supportive towards students.

Dislikes

some colleges lack basic drinking water facilities due to which students have to suffer.

Placement Experience:

My college offers placements to the students. There is a particular cell which is dedicated towards providing placement opportunities and internship opportunities to the students. There is also a placement fair organised in my college in which 40 companies participated and offer internship opportunities to first and second year students and placement opportunities to third year students.
