- Commerce Faculty is top notch, they always encourage us to do better and help us to improve daily.
- New building is being ready and pretty much well functioning then old.
- Library is very much diversified, you can find so much content there. There is also a ramalaya in our library.
Dislikes
- There is lift, but students are not allowed to use.
- College infrastructure is very average and so much improvement is needed.
- As this is only girls college so the interaction of other person mind is not much available.
Course Curriculum Overview
I always wanted to learn business and finance that's why I chose to pursue my career in B.Com although I will be pursuing CA also so B.Com curriculum is good for students like me. I agree that the Teaching methods are pretty much old but something is always better than nothing.
Internships Opportunities
so many companies visit every year Daulat ram college for the internship and campus placement. Companies like Accenture, Wipro, Deloitte, KPMG, EY, ICICI, HDFC, DE Shaw, Amazon, and Zomato come with good offer. Although offers vary from person to person and skills to skills.
Placement Experience
From the 2nd year our internship is started and after 2nd year i.e, in the starting of 3rd year we are eligible for campus placements. There are so many companies every year visit Daulat ram College for campus placement. Like:- Accenture, Wipro, Deloitte, KPMG, EY, ICICI, HDFC, DE Shaw, Amazon, and Zomato. I have CA in my mind after graduation.
Fees and Financial Aid
The Total fee for B.Com program is 34,600 yearly which is very higher according to government college. As till now I have not applied for any scholarship but there is financial assistance available in the college for students, they encourage us to apply scholarship through national scholarship portal.
Campus Life
The name of our annual fest is manjari. There are so many books available in our library also a ramalaya available. The technologies available in classroom are not pretty much advance but new building is pretty much good. There is a sports Complex and a gym with personal SPA room available in our college.
Admission
Apart from Daulat Ram I have applied for all the colleges of north campus and south campus. Although as like every commerce enthusiastic SRCC was my dream college but due to normalization I got DRC. Apart from Delhi University, I have also applied for IIM JAMMU integrated BBA & MBA program.
Faculty
As I said earlier that commerce faculty is top notch and the faculty to student ratio is also manageable. They always try to help us and improve our mindset. As I am in my 1st semester so I have Gira ma'am for financial accounting, Kanika ma'am for Business laws and Reema ma'am for Business organization and management. They all are pretty much highly educated and good person, they teach very well.
Night Life
As Daulat ram college is available in the heart of north campus so it is surrounded by all the north campus colleges. There is SRCC just besides our college. The Ramjad college is also very near with tom uncle maggie point and sudhama chai.
