Course Curriculum Overview
The reason why ive chosen Bcom Hons is because my inclination was always towards accountancy. Frequency of exams in our course is semester wise and in each semester we have internals as well. Our course has a lot of scope to begin career in Finance and accounting. All in all Bcom Hons arguably the best course that our college offers.
Internships Opportunities
Time and again our internship placement cell ridhi notifies us about the available internship opportunities. Since im in my first year am not qualified to apply for internships but my seniors that ive seen have interned in big companies like hdfc, delloite and many more and that too with a stipend of no less than 20000.
Placement Experience
Our placement cell Riddhi, doesnt just offers placements but also help us in providing various internships. A proper placement fest called incrementum is organised in our college to make sure maximum students benefit out of it. Last year companies like icici, hdfc bank, delloite and others provided direct campus placements to the students of our college. On an average Bcom hons students got a paycheck of 5-6 lakhs.
Fees and Financial Aid
Myself shubhangi studying in Daulat Ram College, Delhi University. Im from bcom hons and my fees for the same is 34000. Our college is from one of the top colleges of North Campus and yet the fees is lowest of all. Our college provides various scholarships for students from which ive availed is inspire which is provided especially to the students of specific and himachal pradhesh.
Campus Life
Our library is definitely the best part of our entire infrastructure, it has more than 1lakh books, journals and research papers. Research papers from London School of Economics to Harward are available in our library. The next big thing of our infrastructure is our auditorium which can easily hold upto 800 students at any point of time. Canteen is good but we do have more option like nescafe and amul. The burgers available at amul are definitely my favourite. Last but not the list our lawn which has a beautiful garden is my favourite place of our college.
Admission
My parents are very strict and therefore they made it a point that they will allow me to study only in a girls college. Definitely LSR was my first choice but the cutoff was so high that i could not make it. With the cuet score i had i only had options for colleges like bharti college, mata sundari, kalindi but the best option out of them was drc tht i could opt.
Faculty
Our faculty is an incarnation of maa saraswati as the teaching is exactly god like. All the faculties in our college started of as assistant professors and became permanent only after teaching for a decade. Thus all the faculties of our college hold experience of a decade atleast. Our Accounts professor Mr. Ram Manohar is our favourite.
Night Life
Our college is in North Campus and therefore nearby our college we find students from diffrent colleges like miranda, ramjas, hansraj and many more. The most iconic spot to hangout near our college is sudama tea spot. There is also a place where i love to eat parathas. there aloo paratha is my favourite.
