Placement Experience
At Daulat Ram College students become eligible for campus placements in the final year. About 40–50 companies visit annually offering roles in IT, finance, analytics, and marketing. Highest packages reach ?23?LPA, averages ?6–6.5?LPA. Placement rates vary 5–24%, with top recruiters including Accenture, Wipro, Deloitte, DE?Shaw, KPMG, ICICI, and HDFC. After completing my degree my main goal is to secure a good placement that aligns with my skills and interests.
Fees and Financial Aid
The annual fee for bcom hons at daulat ram college is ?34,600 and the tuition fee is the same for all the students regardless of category. However, SC and ST students receive financial assistance through various scholarships. Several Scholarship portal schemes, such as National scholarship portal and PMSSS are available and can cover up to 75% of the total cost.
Campus Life
Daulat Ram College hosts its major annual cultural fest Manjari usually held between February and April along with various department and society-level events throughout the year. The college also celebrates events like the Jalsa Diwali mela around October, giving students a range of cultural and academic experiences. The campus provides good facilities — books are easily accessible in the library, projectors are available in some classrooms, and students get opportunities to participate in sports and a wide variety of extracurricular activities.
Admission
I had applied to many colleges through DU but this college was my 5th preference. My admission was based on CUET l and I got this college according to my marks. I chose this college because it is good academically and its NIRF ranking is 72. Admission here is based on CUET and the eligibility is passing 12th grade. For my course, Business Studies, Economics, and English were compulsory while I could choose either Accounts or Mathematics. The cutoff for my course in the general category went up to 864.
Faculty
The faculty is good and approachable and whenever students face any difficulty they can go to them and the teachers address and resolve the problem effectively. The college conduct semester exams as well as mid semester test and the difficulty level of the papers generally remains moderate.
Night Life
I am a day scholar so I do not stay in the hostel and do not have firsthand experience of hostel life. After classes, students usually hang out in the college canteen or nearby cafes. Since I do not stay on campus at night, I am not familiar with how safe the locality is after dark.
