Ques. What is the Grievance Redressal Cell at DRC?

Ans. A Grievance Redressal Cell has been constituted in DRC to resolve day-to-day problems and grievances of students in accordance with the regulations of the University Grants Commission. This cell aims to look into complaints lodged by any student and solve them based on prevailing rules and regulations. Also, to maintain a fair, unbiased, and consistent system for redressal of various issues faced by the students. Lastly, DRC provides This Cell to maintain a friendly environment and cordial relationship between the students and faculty without giving any chance to widen the gap between them that may arise because of certain simple misunderstandings.

Ques. What is the main motive behind provisioning the Library to the students of DRC?

Ans. The mission of the Facilitating Library is to provide college students with the information they need to achieve their highest academic potential and help them acquire the research skills necessary for lifelong learning. To support teaching faculty & administrative staff and to participate in interactive information exchange within the wider library / educational community. Its goal of achieving prominence as a leading college libraries in this part of the country, It is the vision of the Library to support the institution and its stakeholder by providing seamless access to the widest possible spectrum of information resources such as digital, online databases, print and non-print materials relevant to the curricular, informational and innovative research needs of the academic community', means to provide Right Information to the Right Users at the Right Time and in the Right Format.

Ques. How are the Ragging issues solved in DRC?

Ans. The Proctorial Committee is concerned with maintaining discipline in the DRC. It is a representative body comprising faculty members and elected student representatives. All students are required to maintain good discipline and a congenial environment while studying in the college. Ragging is an offence. The Proctorial Committee will undertake preventive and prohibitive anti-ragging measures as per Ordinance XV-C, University of Delhi. At the time of admission and at the beginning of an academic session, every student has to give an undertaking pledging non-participation in any form of ragging. Every student is provided with a booklet on the University of Delhi Anti-Ragging Ordinance. This should be adhered to strictly.

From semester 5 you are eligible for placements before that internships are available there are several companies like kpmg urban company wtw Accenture with average package of 5 lpa and highest of 8 lpa for consulting roles and around 45/60 students are placed . You can also choose to pursue master after ug or directly go into corporate placement.

We have placements fairs in our college and it is mostly offered to all the courses and to students of all the years. But most of them are for bcom h or eco honours students. There are internships for 1st yearies too but most of them wants 2nd or 3rd year students.
