Faculty

The faculty to student ratio comparing with one particular semester class might be around 4:10 with the lab staffs, guest teachers ,asst profs and the Proffesors. They are the most genuine ones and approachable in times of troubles and needs. I like the science faculties , physics, chemistry, zoology, botany, much more than any others but exceptionally i like my biochemistry faculty even more. There are no faculties which i personally not like or dislike of any type. For every semester there is one main final exam but sometimes the college conducts mid sem exams as well. And somehow the exam syllabus are quite tough. But most students successfully clear the exams.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees i paid during my first year was 36750 and my second year is 34150 and probably my third year will cost me above 30k+ but lesser than the previous one. No extra fees regarding tuition fees, caution fees etc were included during the course completion. As for my course my Batchmates paid the same amount as I regardless of categories but some different science courses from the same college paid higher than mine. For my college there is fee concession for those who need financial aid given by the college among different categories. Even if the fees are decreasing by 2 or 3 percent it's affordable but too expensive.

Actually, about the Liking Faculty, the staff of the biochemistry department is highly competitive, and they are all best in their ways, so selecting one would be difficult. Semesters: 6 semesters over 3 years of course Subjects Covered: Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, Enzymology, Human Physiology, Immunology, Genetics, Biostatistics, etc. Includes Core papers, DSE(discipline-specific elective), SEC(Skill enhancement course), and practicals. Marks: Internal semster: 25% End-semester exams: 75% Difficulty level: Moderate to High Pass percentage: more than 90%. Failures are very rare. Campus Life

Cultural and art annual fest was held from 12th Jan - 15th jan. Every important day are celebrated like republic day , independence day etc.. Sports competition where held in November. There are good amount of books in the library, but the library is open only from Monday to Friday. We can take books as much as we want and the books should be returned after 15 days. Classrooms have projectors , lights and fans are provided in enough amounts . All the class room can hold about 70 people . Every sport have its own ground like cricket ground, football ground, basketball ground, tennis court etc..and it always open and we can play anytime. Extra curricular activities are promoted. There are drama club , dance and music clubs .they perform in every events. The campus is on a highway therefore we can't go near cities as we have to travel 45min to reach there. Only vegetarian food is available.

Faculty

Faculty to students ratio is low . There is no enough faculty. The faculty are good ,they behave nicely especially the faculties of chemistry and biochemistry are great at teaching and are friendly also. They don't provide us exam models or don't make us practice more questions. There are 3 exams in a sem. 2 CIA and 1 end sem exam (ese) . CIA is of 20 marks each and the ese is 60 marks . We need 14 marks from combined from both CIA and 21 marks from ese to pass the subject. The lab exams will be conducted parallely . The amount of students failing the exam is also very high.

Fees and Financial Aid

At first they took around 20 K including admission and then 10 K for the 2nd semester. 3rd and 4th semester was total of 30k. Exam fees is around 1000 rupees to be paid before semester to get admit card. Biochemistry, computer science and microbiology are the aided courses so their fee structure is more. For all other subjects semester fees is not more than 6000 INR.

Faculty

Faculty to student ratio is fine. We had three main professors, Dr. BSS, Dr. AB, and AB sir. We had two proffesor for chemistry. As I hated core chemistry, I didn't really interacted with them. Dr. BSS was our HOD at that time. She really invests her time and energy to make us learn practical techniques. I will be forever grateful to her for this.

Many events happen in college like the annual day, cultural fest, tech fest, sports day, diwali mela, flash mob, etc. Our library is very big with three floors and also e library is available. All important books are available over there. It's pretty too. The classrooms are well equipped with smart boards and blackboard and proper ventilation and air conditioners. Every kind of extra curricular activities goes on over here as per your choice. Many societies are present here like National Sevice Scheme, Mukhauta - The dramatics society, Aaharya - The dance society, Glamfire - The fashion society, Aagar- The food society, Youth parliament, Enactus, Aarohana - The music society, etc. These societies help a lot in building our personality and grooming our future.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course because it was oriented towards life and research and i love that. It doesn't prepare for real life for that you need to join societies. Exams are for two hours and if we talk about difficulty level its average
