Course Curriculum Overview

5

The course is pretty good and have very good future opportunities. This course is not available at any other college. And if you want to study biochemistry, you should definitely go for Adamas University. From theory to practical everything will be taught to you with your own hands by the teachers.

Internships Opportunities

5

When it's about internship, the professors provide various places for internships, students can also go for self internship, that's also allowed . But a certificate of more than 21 days is required for Bsc in our course. The the places suggested by the professors are a bit costly but still affordable and do much worth it because I'm doing internship right now under SeeCure lab, chinar park, and they're teaching everything and we're doing everything by our own hands

Placement Experience

3.5

The placements provided by adamas university are really good, it basically depends on the student and his own knowledge and skills, but still the placements of adamas are really good. For biochemistry, placements are good only after masters. After Bsc there are jobs but they won't pay that much which you can get after completing Msc. And there are very few jobs of biochemistry in India. But you'll have a great scope in abroad.

Fees and Financial Aid

You'll get scholarships if you have a good score in boards and you can apply for other scholarships . And about the fees , maybe it's a bit high but still low than Amity and techno university. And paying this amount is very much worth it because you'll be taught from the very bottom.

Campus Life

5

As i said earlier, apart from studies adamas introduces you to a variety of extracurricular activities, various clubs starting from dance, drama, literature, singing, enviornment etc.. Ragging is 100% restricted by the university and if someone is reported of doing that , they're severely punished. So overall you'll get a great campus life in Adamas

Admission

For WBCHSE, The cut-off is 70% For CBSE, it is 80% There is an entrance exam for studying in AU , which is AU - ET , As it is an autonomous university it has its own entrance. And you'll still get admission if you have low marks because it is an autonomous university

Faculty

5

Our professors are highly educated and veryuch qualified. They were CU gold medalist and some are from IITs . They have so much knowledge of what they're doing. My personal experience with Adamas for the past two years is pretty good, always received help in studies and other stuffs whenever needed. Overall you should definitely go for Adamas.

Placement Experience:

People who major in my department usually opt for masters over placement not because of this college but because overall industrial or academic opportunities are better with a pg degree. Masters from this college is not recommended as i have heard so from my seniors. Some of my seniors managed to crack competitives and secure MSc seats at great places. Training and Placement cell had a good coordinator previously but now its almost non existent. Companies do come and hire Bpharm, Mpharm and MSc candidates. Packages are below average. Only Nestle pays well. But if you do well you'll eventually climb up the corportate ladder. From the time i am here i have not heard of any BSc candidate getting placed. Most go for higher studies.

Placement Experience:

The average package offered for such roles ranges between ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package offered to a BSc student is around ?4 LPA, depending on skills and specialization. Overall, around 15–20% of BSc students get placed through campus drives, and many students rely on off-campus opportunities.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum was well thought out as per me but there were subjects that i found absolutely unnecessary. Subjects like history evs and clc were in no way related to my course. Coming to the main subjects Design, Printing, Photography and film and Media Training were absolutely necessary for my course and whilst the faculty for some of these subjects were really bad, some were good. It is also important to mention none of these subjects actually helped us prepare for the real world. Instead internships and freelance helped us more than these subjects could ever do. Exams were held bi monthly to keep track of what we learnt and every 6 months we had our semester exams. Overall if you want to be a media professional INTERNSHIPS AND JOBS WILL HELP YOU MORE THAN A COLLEGE WILL. I am biased on this opinion as my college didnt provide me with the correct guidance and support i needed to make it in the real world.

Placement Experience:

In case of computer science department, placement is provided at the Last year of M.sc course. Many companies like Wipro, b10x, Tata visited here. Highest package ever is three lakh per annum. 20-40% of the students got placement after completing M.Sc computer science. My plan after B.sc is to pursue MCA.

* It's all about practical knowledge, we are getting from this course and another aspect is if you wants to make your career in research or lecturer then you should go for it. *No changes required in teaching methods but if college will provide hostel facilities and campus requirement drive, then it will better for candidates.
