Course Curriculum Overview

As the course is designed according to NEP 2022. we have options to opt elective papers from different discipline so the we can study according to our interrest. The teaching method is verbal and presentation followed by practical and in some case trip.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 24000 per year

Internships Opportunities

we can do internship at SRI VIPRA [a research unit of our college]. people do get research internship at various intitutions including AIIMS, and JNU. people from courses like commerce and economics do get internship/aticleship at many offices located in Delhi and Delhi NCR.

Placement Experience

placement in science courses are very rare however almost all student of science courses do get internship at Sri Vipra [a research unit of sri venkateshwara college, delhi university] and some other institute including AIIMS, JNU etc. most of them opt for higher studies or prepare for Govt exams. people from commerce and economics ido get placed but not all.

Fees and Financial Aid

the college tution fee for a year is 23425. As the course is of four year so you will be paying approximately 100000. Examination registration fee is around 2000 per semester which you will be paying 16000 for all 8 semester. College also have freeship scheme for the students whose family income is low.

Campus Life

campus life is really vibrant if you interact with the people. If you are introvert, dont worry, you will soon be an extrovert. there are many societies where you can join and meet new people and make friends.

Admission

i was alloted B.Tech BioTech at Acharya NArenra Dev Agricultural University, Ayodhya through ICAR but I didnt took admission there. Because of the prestige of Delhi University and exposure it provide.

Faculty

all the faculty members are very nice. i did not find any faculty who behave rudly. but offcourse there are different shades, some are a little strict some are too much friendly. The sudent and teacher ratio is around 12:1.

Night Life

there are hostel facility in college but as i am a day scholar so i can not state more about it but yeah! people do live near the college so they have night life. no matter how muc hot or cold weather it is but chai with friend is "kya baat hai!"

Kirori Mal - The way I see it

Placement Experience:

The placements at Kirori Mal College are respectable and are getting better. The fifth semester is typically when students become eligible for campus placements. Numerous well known bussineses like Deloitte, KPMG, EY et. Approximately 50-60% of students are placed through campus drives each year. The average package is approxiamtely 5-7 lakhs per year. After getting the degree I plan on applying for a masters degree in the same field.

The course is good but placement is very bad in the campus. The frequency of exams is 2 hours or 3 hours depends on the credit of that subject. The exam level is of moderate level. We had pass the exam studying 1 week before the exam.

A vibrant college life

Course Curriculum Overview:

as been from the science background I have deep interest in maths already, and I want to continue my passion for it. The proves the critical thinking the imaginary parts and the applications of mathematics. We see every day it motivates to think about these theorems. The curriculum of course is very good, but due to NEP, we have to study subjects like Hindi in our AEC which is very irrelevant to the curriculum and waste our four hours weekly in mathematics, we mainly deal in proof and theorem. There are very less real word applications that are being taught here. There are various areas for improvement like we can adapt the course or the curriculum.in universities like IITs,Cambridge Oxford and other big universities so that the placement and internship percentage can get improved in our college

The Life at Ramjas College.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was always interested course. It's relevant to the exams in that particular field. The syllabus for life and other exams in this field. I think that there is a lack of actual real life practice in basic courses. If could be made more aligned to what we do in real life it would have been better. The exams are easy enough to pass by just studying one month before exams and submitting the internal assessments properly. There are end semester exams which gives enough time to prepare well.

Aryabhatta College (Delhi University), a new but hustling place

Course Curriculum Overview:

i believe CS hons is a decent course. The curriculum is however, very outdated. We are being taught several topics that have no relevance these days and they arent even taught properly. I believe a far better choice would be doing BTech instead since it has a better course and companies prefer that over BSc CS. In terms of preparing for the real world, i believe this course has no use since the most important parts we have to learn it ourselves. Exams are conducted once at the end of every semester (including practical and theory). However during the semesters, there are multiple tests taken to asses our knowledge regularly

Life when you get into srcc
