Central University of Rajasthan : An overview and My experience.

The curriculum is good . We also have yoga classes , classes on India's history, spirituality, ayurveda etc.. and these two courses are compulsory for all departments. The exam level is between medium to difficult. I think there should be more choices of minor subjects or skill development subjects.

They provide internship with great company and university across the world . Provide proper guidance on the same. But it is only for students who are in the last year of there masters . There have provide opportunities to cultivate enterpreneurship in students by tying up with different companies.

A year consist of two semesters. For each sem, we pay about RS.8500 as academic fee ( lab , library charges are included in this ), RS.6000 as hostel fee , RS.2500 as electricity and water charges. We pay RS.6000 every 2 months as mess fee . The fee is same for every category but sc , st category receives cash back .

Cultural and art annual fest was held from 12th Jan - 15th jan. Every important day are celebrated like republic day , independence day etc.. Sports competition where held in November. There are good amount of books in the library, but the library is open only from Monday to Friday. We can take books as much as we want and the books should be returned after 15 days. Classrooms have projectors , lights and fans are provided in enough amounts . All the class room can hold about 70 people . Every sport have its own ground like cricket ground, football ground, basketball ground,tennis court etc..and it always open and we can play anytime. Extra curricular activities are promoted. There are drama club , dance and music clubs .they perform in every events. The campus is on a highway therefore we can't go near cities as we have to travel 45min to reach there. Only vegetarian food is available.

My room have 2 almirah, 3 desk and chair ,two lights and fans ,a small balcony where we can hung our cloths and we are 3 people in this room. The mess food is blunt . No spices no salt. Rotis are either burned or uncooked. They try to make south indian food and my ancestors will cry if they taste that . The paneer sabji and mixed veg are good , sweet is given every Monday, Wednesday and Friday but the size is too small. Don't provide snacks in the evening. The mess fee is so high and we even don't get non veg or even eggs . They give tea , coffee and milk alternate days they have more water and less milk. Water cooler don't filter water properly, heater are useless .

I have applied to Delhi University for biotechnology, aligarh university. I choose this university because it has 4 yrs bsc course and others had 3yr bsc courses . Entrence exam- CUET ug . Cut off - 200 marks . The admission day was hectic. They didn't provide proper information on which are the things we should bring neither about the applications to be printed out from the University website.

Faculty to students ratio is low . There is no enough faculty. The faculty are good ,they behave nicely especially the faculties of chemistry and biochemistry are great at teaching and are friendly also. They don't provide us exam models or don't make us practice more questions. There are 3 exams in a sem. 2 CIA and 1 end sem exam (ese) . CIA is of 20 marks each and the ese is 60 marks . We need 14 marks from combined from both CIA and 21 marks from ese to pass the subject. The lab exams will be conducted parallely . The amount of students failing the exam is also very high.

Girls hostel is open from 6:00am to 10pm Class : from 9:00 am to 8:00pm There are cafes and restaurants inside and outside the campus , but the nearest city is 45 mins away . There fore no party . It is safe to roam inside the campus at night . Gym is there outside gate no 3 open till 5pm. There is a beauty parlour and many restaurants and stalls outside gate no 3 , which is on walking distance from hostel. Food is pretty expensive but it is tastier than mess .
