Evaluation criteria followed in the campus

The exam pattern of university is boring because consecutive exams are very stressful to us. Consecutive exam happen there not get enough time to study well and perform the exams that is the main reason for difficult of subjects And also some teachers lectures are very boring the way of teaching is boring and long lectures it took continuous 1-4 hours. It is too boring and we can't concentrate on that subject

Fees of the course per semester

Iam doing Masters Geology in central university punjab. The fee is paid by semester wise. In first sem we paid 17500rs total in this academic year 12000 , Toral 30000 rupees per year. In our university provide part time job service for students. Also university provide space for scholarships by central government and state government.

Students view on campus life

In our university involvement of clubs are very less and programmes also very less . Regional programmes are happen Itha's good and we enjoyed it without any hesitation. It helps to interact others peoples from other states. Involvement of sports activities are also very less I our college there is no motivation for that. Physical department is there but involment is very less

Students view on faculties

There is have much faculties in our college as well as department. We have enough faculties. Also faculties are very approachable and friendly we can share every thing. Most of all faculties are good to me and some faculties way of teaching is not good to me character wise is ok but way of taking class is very boring. Exams are quite tough to me and most of valuation is relative that is not good thing. But every one definitely pass the exam but mark is less that is because of the relative valuation .

Eligibility criteria to get admission in the college

The eligibility of to get admission in this college is considered through cuet exams it is based on a particular syllabus to all subject. It also relative ranking there is no cutoff marks it is ralative. And l choose this college because it is a central university we get more exposure on subjects and we can interact with other state peoples that is also good one . Also for my subject this university is one of the good department among india. For my department geology course we get 15 days field trip under the guidance of most valuable persons like dr Chauhan sir and etc . That is good for us and future

Night Life

Gym is available for girsl and boys that is good there is have separate time for girsl and boys also mixing also there service of cafeteria are not bad it is good but not much good . Here boys have 24 but girls have only up to 10pm in campus that is not good. But for library we can sit up to 2 am both girls and boys but girl's allowed only up to 10 pm in campus that is quite weird also hangout spaces are very less here there is no place for hangout space in college also outside of campus too.

CU Punjab: 3 Answered Questions

How is the girl’s hostel facility at the Central University of Punjab? What are the rules of the hostel?

Rina MajumderM.Sc. (Physics) from Central University of Punjab (2018)

Central University of Punjab has recently moved to a new permanent campus, which has cabins constructed at every free space possible, such as the sports hall and parking areas. Doctoral students are given a single-seated room (cabin) until the year 2016, while master's students are given a room on a sharing basis.

The rules for the hostel are relatively lenient now compared to the past. Girls are allowed to study in the library even after midnight, but they are not permitted to roam around the campus after dinner. There is no nightlife available on campus, but students can use the library or stay in their rooms to study. The hostels and campus offer Wi-Fi, RO water, and geysers. However, air conditioning or ducting in the rooms is not possible since the cabins are temporary, portable structures. During the summer, the temperature can reach up to 46 degrees Celsius, making the rooms feel like a furnace unless a cooler is used.

Overall, the facilities are good enough to survive, but they are not enough to have a great time. If you cannot compromise on hostel facilities, it is recommended that you look for another university since Bathinda is not a very developed or urbanized city, but more like a town.

The department has good motivated students and a highly experienced faculty. Even the lab facilities are good enough for education purposes. In Central University Punjab there is one more term added to the course, that is technology.
