Fees of Central university of Punjab for MSc Physics (Computational Physics) is diffrent for all semester .Fees of 1st sem is 18975rs, 2nd sem is 10,325 3rd sem is fees is 13425 rs and 4th sem is 10325. Fees of course increasing steadly. Only central level scholarship is available.

The new upcoming Central University

Fees and Financial Aid:

A general category student, for direct admission pays around 30K per sem that comes out to be 60k a year, but for otger backward categories the fee is around 15K per sem which comes out to be 30K per year, though this too can also be compensated for both category groups through various scholarships, mainly GATE Scholarship which is 12400 per month and NSP which is 12500 per month, though there are also state scholarships but that depends upon the state of the students.

Central University of Punjab - Mini india

Fees and Financial Aid:

I have done my masters from CUPB. It is tottally affordable university. Fees structure was around 12-15K per year for my 2 year masters course. Few of my batchmates got fellowship also on the basis of their Categories.

Life in CUP

Fees and Financial Aid:

20,000 for academic and 18,000 for hostel. At the time of admission totla 32,000 paid to university. There is non- net scolarship and jrf fellowship for non-net it's 8000 anf for jrf it's 37000. for sc and st there are other scholarships available.

Iam doing Masters Geology in central university punjab. The fee is paid by semester wise. In first sem we paid 17500rs total in this academic year 12000 , Toral 30000 rupees per year. In our university provide part time job service for students. Also university provide space for scholarships by central government and state government.

Firstly we paid an amount of 18000 for the sem 1 and for the 2nd sem we need to pay 12000 . I think we paid ?600 for registration . We extra paid 5000 for field training and more fore many other facilities provided by the college.

Wonderful land with positives and negatives

Fees and Financial Aid:

For semester, I paid 17,000 above first and after coming to hostel, I paid 15500 and for mess fee first 3000 had paid. Every month again, mess fee comes as 3000. With that, I paid 7500 for the field trip for our geology. I have around 5000 expenses after coming here just for buying winter clothes and all as it is cold here in Punjab december other than that 5000 had gone for all the other needs. As I am in general category, I don't get any benefits. Both my parents have no job even though they take loan to give education to us. Only because of the category, I have suffered a lot. The first hostel admission, I don't get seat and everywhere I have ran for the seat. Finally, after overcoming obstacles only I got the seat. Next semester, I have to pay again around 10000 and also hostel fee comes as around 9000. Also for my travel to Kerala as it is my native place, also should cost 2500 and above

A short review about Central University of Punjab

Fees and Financial Aid:

In Central University of Punjab the fee structure is very minimal for all the facilities provided by this University. The sem fee is only 15000 includes all the facilities of the University even examination fee also. In the case of Hostel fees, for first sem itis nearly 13000 ans for all other sem its 8000.There various scholarship provided here based on the marks and category. NSP, Postmetric etc can apply. For kerala Students, they xan apply for Egrantz scholarship provided by Kerala Government.

Truth about university

Dislikes

Academic stress is there. We have to do a lot of work in a single day

Fees and Financial Aid:

On first semestet I paid 17500 and on next semester I have to pay 9000 rupees. Therefore a year I have to pay 26500 rupees as my tution fee. Apart from tution fee, I also have to pay my hostel fee for each semester. On first semestet i have paid 15600 rps and on next semester I have to pay 8600.So total hostel fee for yhis academic year is 24200.I am an obc student but university doesn't provide any relaxation for obc students regarding fees. Only sc and st students is having relaxation for their fees. Currently I am not receiving any scholarship amount. I have given for a scholarship, but iam not sure that will I get it or not. My financial status is very bad. As my father os the only earning member of my family. He is an autodriver. And he is about 53 age now. I am on financial crisis. I also want a laptop for my studies. But I can't afford it.
