The university offers 86+ programs across eight schools and 34 departments with modern infrastructure including a 484-acre green campus, well-equipped laboratories, and a comprehensive library with 54,000+ books. The affordable fee structure (INR 2,100-2.06 lakhs for various programs) makes quality education accessible to all. Ques. What is your recommendation, opinion, and experience as a student and pass-out student/Alumni of CU Haryana?

Ans. As an AI, I don't have personal student experiences, but based on extensive data from 500+ student reviews on platforms like Shiksha, CollegeDunia, and careers360, CU Haryana alumni consistently recommend the university for its academic rigor, peaceful campus environment, and excellent faculty guidance. Students highlight the strength in science and engineering disciplines, affordable fees, and modern infrastructure. Many alumni successfully secure placements with top companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, and IBM. The main concerns mentioned are limited placement avenues for non-technical programs, remote rural location, and developing placement infrastructure compared to older central universities. Overall, alumni view CU Haryana as an excellent investment for quality education with strong academic foundations and good career prospects in technical fields.

Ques. What is the scope of an MCA at Central University of Haryana? What would be better, a private university or CU Haryana?

Ans. MCA at Central University of Haryana offers excellent scope with affordable fees (approximately INR 2,100 total for entire program) compared to private universities (often INR 5-10 lakhs). CU Haryana MCA provides strong computer science foundation with modern programming laboratories, experienced faculty, and curriculum aligned with industry requirements. Graduates secure placements with top IT companies through the university's Gurugram-based Training and Placement Centre. The two-year program emphasizes both theoretical knowledge and practical skills. Compared to private universities, CU Haryana offers better academic credibility with UGC recognition and NAAC accreditation at significantly lower costs. While some premium private universities may have slightly better placements, CU Haryana MCA provides excellent value-for-money and superior academic quality at one-tenth the cost, making it the clear winner for cost-conscious students without compromising on education quality.

Ques. How are the hostels at Central University of Haryana?

Ans. Hostels at Central University of Haryana are well-maintained and excellent value-for-money with very affordable fees of INR 14,140 annually for general category and INR 11,740 for SC/ST students, plus monthly mess charges of INR 670-470. Rooms are typically double-occupancy with furnished beds, study tables, chairs, almirahs, and 24x7 electricity and Wi-Fi connectivity. Hostels provide nutritious vegetarian mess food, common study rooms, recreation facilities, gymnasium, badminton court, and 24x7 security with biometric entry. Students appreciate the clean hygienic environment, responsive hostel staff, and community living fostering strong friendships. The only drawback is the remote rural location, but overall hostel experience is highly rated by students.

Ques. Which is better, University of the Punjab or Central University of Haryana?

Ans. Comparing University of Punjab (PU) and Central University of Haryana depends on your priorities. University of Punjab has longer history (established 1882) and stronger alumni network, particularly strong in humanities and social sciences with comparatively better placements for non-technical programs. Central University of Haryana established in 2009, has NAAC 'A' grade accreditation, NIRF ranking of 151-200, and excellent infrastructure across all disciplines including engineering. CU Haryana offers more diverse programs (86+ vs PU's 50+) with modern laboratories and research facilities. For engineering disciplines, CU Haryana is superior with better placements (B.Tech median INR 3.42 LPA). For traditional humanities, PU may be preferred. If you prioritize modern infrastructure, research opportunities, and engineering education, choose CU Haryana. For strong humanities education and established reputation, choose PU based on your field of interest.

I choose CUH over other universities beacause of the stability and transparency it offers compared to universities under Aktu, such as lucknow university where initially i got addmission . AKTU has a reputation for unpredictable exam schedules , no flexibility in exam dates and question papers much often set by external teachers , which creates unnecessary stress for students. Its image on social media also reflects these issues , which made me reconsider continuing there. The addmissikn process here was smooth and hassle-free. Everthing was well-coordinated , and i did not face any problems during my addmission . This chill and students -friendly process gave me a positive first impression of the university. Overall , I choose this college beacause it provides more reliable academic environment , cooperative faculty ,and a transparent sydetm , which i found missing in AKTU-affiliated colleges.

I chose CUH because of the campus and infrastructure I saw online and because I did not want to go to CUJ and did not want remain stuck studying in Arunachal Pradesh. I also applied in DU and BHU but could not ho to BHU because I didn't have my 3rd Sem marskheet then and i could not go to du because I only got into du when I had already started going to CUH for a month. The admission process was very easy as everything could be done online. I don't know about the elibility and the cutoffs but I had 92 marks and I belong to st category but there were others most who had lower marks than me.

CU Haryana: 1 Answered Question

How good is the Central University of Haryana?

Siddharth KumarB.Tech EE from Central University of Haryana (2018)

Central University Of Haryana (CUHAR) is situated in Mahendragarh district. It is one of the youngest universities in the NCR region and Haryana district.

According to the reviews online, students often have doubts regarding the institution, this might be due to its newer establishment and matching up to the other institutions.

You can surely take admission in CUHAR because the quality of education is really good. They have a proper and well-maintained infrastructure. They also have a very cooperative and highly experienced faculty.

Some other facilities include gym, digital library, hostels, food joints and much more.

Students sometimes have a problem with their college ranking in NIRF. But it can be assured that it is building and growing to match the level of its peers.

Atlast, all it can be said is that it is a very good institution who is working its way to be the best version of itself. Thus observing their rapid improvement it can be said that studying here will not be a bad choice.
