How are the hostels at CU Haryana?

I am currently staying in the CUH hostel,but getting room as a boy is really tough . Very few boys get allotment in their department and it is strictly based on merit . In contrast , girls usually get hostel rooms easily since there are more rooms available for them. The registration is done through the Samarth portal , but even after applyinng , many students do not get rooms unless they have high merit or some internal links with provost and there are 3 boys hostels and 4 girls hostels. Rooms are decent - you get a bed , big study table , chair , Almirah and ceeling fans . Washrooms are shared and cleaned reguraly . The mess food is okay not great - the menu feels very repetative . Overall the allotment process defineteky need more transparency and some changes.

Hostel facility is very good.The hostel fee is very affordable. Meal quality is good and menu have varities. Registration process of hostel is online and list release by university and after you have to visit university for documents verification. Room or rented pg are available in area around university and safety is good of pg .

Hostel room are 3 people in 1 room 1 student get tablechair ,bed , almirah of their own Meal is good Registration process is easy and hostel is affordable but availablity of hostel is difficult some time.

Every student is provided a bed .a almira, a studytable and a chair their is proper electricity avialitiy in rooms and rooms are fully ventilated so a balcony is provided in every room and 2 shelfs for extra material. meal is nutritious mess meal quality is not soo good but also but bad

The hostels are really good but the mess facility is not that good the per meal price is around 60 but the quality is not that good at all. hostels are given solemnly on the basis of your cuet score in the first year and after that on the basis of your result not all students (boys) get hostel but all the girls get hostel here. PG is also available nearby the campus at affordable prices.
