A life in CUH

Likes

The facilities of my department and there behaviour with students
Syllabus is quite good and appropriate for future too.

Dislikes

The location of the university. It is in interior
Transportation facilities is very poor. It's is difficult to travel accross university

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:

My first year fees was 15000 Second year fees is 11000 This is the tution fees and every other charges are included in it. No other charges are paid by student in overall term. There are some scholarship based on marks and reservation. With the respect of reservation of SC and ST there is some what 2000-3000 discount in the fees structure

My college has great scenery and very great weather and very good greeb forest are
Good quality of rooms in any hostel whether girls or boys

Dislikes

Less hostel facilities for boys , many boys have to get to pg
Many times there is power cut in hostels in day and night

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:

Yearly fees is 65200 + 12810 hostel fees All others fees are included in yearly tution fees 29200 fees for sc/st + 10400 hostel fees All scholarship provided by government and private institutions such as merit cum means scholarship , girl child scholarship and all other scholarships provided by national scholarship scheme. Lab fees is 200 and wifi fees is 100 per year Financial aid is available for students wobare in need All types of medical facilities are also available in the university campus for students like cafeteria; canteen mess In case of hostel only 25 percent of total students get hostel so be careful coming to the college if you are a dumb or average student The mess only has veg food available so it is good for you if you are a vegetarian but a bit of a problem is you are meat lover or a non vegetarian person, So you choose this college based on your preferences and your knowldege and better take guidance from senior

Vision towards Civil Engineering and CUH

Likes

There is a clean and fresh environment. It is full of plants and greenary.
The total staff in our university is very supportive

Dislikes

Some students ride their bike very fast and some students were not wearing helmets

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:

Central University of Haryana is overall a good institute. The fees for all categories is different I belong to OBC category and it's one semester fees is 32600 and there are two semester in one year so total fees for One year is 65200 for obv category. It provides a post matric scholarship for Haryana students.and National scholarship for all students In this course I get a scholarship of 20,000 in first year.

The year wise fees is 14000 in this fees included all fees like lab fees , examination fees , development fee, admission fees, compluusry fees, There are many scholarship option available Like inspire scholarship, MHRD, Minority etc.

Likes

Campus is full of greenery and so beautifull. Library is well maintained and have very good study enviroment
Faculty is supportive & helpfull and well-known to their respective subjects

Dislikes

Labs are not properly maintained but core subjects labs are good enough to get learned
Railway station is far away but have proper bus service but for some limited time

Tution fees for btech program is ?65200 for OBC and general students and for sc/st students, It is 12070 yearly which can be paid in two installments. Hostel charges are different for those who want hostel allotment (i.e. about 12000 per year). Total cost for education is about 2.5 lakhs without hostel accomodation. Scholarships are provided by state goverment of the student and also some Central government scholarship schemes are there. If students are not eligible for scholarship then University offer them earn while learning scheme for financial support.

The Central University of Haryana

Likes

The infrastructure of the collage is quiet good for the students. The fees in not too much high even for the engineering department.
The behavior of the professor and knowledge of their's are good enough. They help in all the academics and help in guidance for the carrier.

Dislikes

The timing of the gate closing of the university is quiet too early and there is no night canteen in each hostel .
The transportation system inside or outside of the campus is not too much bad but it is difficult to find any kind of transport after 9 pm.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:

The fee structure is not too much high for any of the courses .According to me it is normal for such a reputed university. Basically in schools or collages fees hikes about 10-15% per year,but here there is no hike in the fees . The complete cost is Rs.65,150 per year with the security fees iuncluded in it , including tuition, service fees, and other compulsory charges. The scholarship is avilable for each of the students if they are from the other state. The amount if the scholarship is about 90% of the total fees . If there is any financial issue to the students they can directly approach to tghe administration for the help. I have voulenterred in many of the events and and i have the rsponsibilities of Department Representative and if we can do like assistance to the teacher we will get stippened too.

Cuh university is very good.

Likes

The university has a big campus area and also good infrastructure.
The fee of this university is normal and have good environment.

Dislikes

This university doesn't provides better placement results.

The fee structure of this university is very good because it takes very less fee than compare to the others, and also provide the Haryana scholarship scheme which is beneficial for students. Thus in fee, it is very good.

Life at CUH : Pros and Cons

Likes

Academic excellenece, CUH provide world class education to it students, teaching facilities are really good
Infrastructure of CUH is really good, All departments at CUH equipped with all latest technology that enhances teaching

Dislikes

I personally dont like the 75% attendance rule that does not allow me to study for competitive exams.
Transport facility is not so good, its too much hot their in summers so it becomes little hard for the students to survive

Knowing your university Central University of Haryana

Likes

Campus is big people's can enjoy their campus life
Have library and reading room where we can study in good way every department have their reading room,law department have their own library

Dislikes

Lack of buses or e rikshaws ,so their need vehicle for movement in University
Stalls for food catering are very much poor

Their is scholarship and financial assistance for schedule cast persons their is one program for campus employment earn while learn something like this their may be giving 500 rupees for day or week I'm not sure but something like this is running in the campus
