How are the placements at CU Haryana?

After completing graduation one can prefer to placement provided by the campus itself. Various companies comes with various offer every year As being first year student don't have knowledge about placement and package

Campus placement is provided after 6 th semester completion but internship are provided every year to students . As i am 1st year students i donot know about companies as we have not even visited them till now but this month we are having a educational trip to know about these things and i will surely share my experience with you .

The students are eligible for the campus placements from the fifth semester. For getting campus placements , the individual must have atleast Commulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 6 or highrer and the student should not have any backlogs in his / her previuos semsters. Many known companies visited Central University of Haryana and many students get very good placement. Last year a company visited the university and a student from computer sciece and engineering get placed with approximately Rs.24,00,000/- per annum and the average package of the batch was Rs.8,00,000/-.

So the internship starts from the very 1st semester and that's great because from the very 1st semester you start building contacts from different companies and that would definitely help you in placements but the placements actually starts from 5th semester.And if you're good enough then you can also get pre placement offers as well Companies visited are Pantaloons ,SPAR Hypermarket, Reliance Retail Ltd,Delhi Duty Free Services,Om logistics, Safe Express, Shopper's Stop.etc. Average package offered is 3 lpa to 4 lpa 90% of students get placed

After 5th semester you can go for internship which you can get yourself but college send you internship in 8th semester there is not much campus placement scenarios not much i have heard of most of student are mostly off campus placed there much serious students here because home students get easy admission so most them are same.
