Panjab University (PU), also known as Panjab University Chandigarh (PUCHD), is a public research university located in Chandigarh, India. Established in 1882, it is one of the oldest universities in India and is known for its high standards of teaching and research. Panjab University Admission
Panjab University offers admissions to various courses at UG, PG and Doctoral level, which are done on the basis of merit, entrance tests and personal interviews.Most of Panjab University’s courses is entrance based. Candidates must qualify the university-conducted/national-level entrance before proceeding to the university-level selection for official admission. For admission to its UG, PG, and Doctoral level programs, the university administers roughly 10 entrance tests including the PU-MET, PU-CET (UG), PU-CET (PG), PU PGLAW, PUTHAT, PU UGLAW, PULEET, PU MPhil and PhD Entrance Test. The candidates who qualify the same are then called for the group discussion followed by the personal interview and counseling rounds for engineering aspirants respectively.
Panjab University issues the application form online at www. cetpg.puchd.ac.in for all programs. Candidates should keep in mind that they must complete and submit the Panjab University application form 2023 prior to the deadline. Panjab University has a campus of 550 acres in sectors 14 and 25 in Chandigarh with proper infrastructure and excellent facilities for the growth of the students. Panjab University offers several facilities to students, faculty as well as non-teaching staff which include –

- Sports Facilities: Panjab University has arrangements for outdoor as well as indoor sports including an international-level swimming pool, Athletic track, Gym, Volleyball courts, Cricket grounds, lawn tennis courts, netball grounds, Hockey and football grounds, etc.

I applied for panjab University and it's a smooth process of applying and I got admission easily on the behalf of my merit and it's good University. I applied for other colleges also but It didn't match my course requirements so I don't opt them . Eligibility for my course is 50% in your higher secondary school.Overall it's a good experience

Firstly You have to fill the application form online which fees is 1300. Then your application will get selected.after the selection of your examination you will get a mail of your fees and that,s it.

I always wanted to be the part of this college as there is a name of my college and it is considered a good environment college plus the opportunities are large in number the discipline is there. And it is hard to get admission in.

The college is situated in chandigarh vip area and it is also near to the sukhna lake which is a tourist attraction. The admission process is through JAC councelling. The admision is on the baisis of JEE mains rank. I live in chandigarh and this college is also in chandigarh thats why i choose this college

First of all being in Chandigarh my college opens and added opportunity to learn and excell in varried courses other than what one is learning in college the faculty is realy great here regular classes and exams keep a check on students progress other reason is that being from Himachal Pradesh Chandigarh provides a great learning and developing opportunity for a school pass out and student can also join separate coaching classes for various exams

The main reason for choosing this college was because of its good reputation and the secondary reason was the course was cheap. As for the admission process, we were required to give them documents regarding education and if the person meet the requirement then he gets admitted to the course.

- The teachers are well educated and have different styles of teaching as well which helps a lot to learn things better way as a bcom student we have 6 or 7 subjects and have exams in every 5 months so it difficult to learn but the teacher make it easy
- The commerce department is good for the first year students it is the best in whole Sggs college well maintained and cleaned ..the toilet is neat the benches are not trash it is of good quality which make a good environment for studying in classes ..
Dislikes
- I think that there can be improvement in the topic of infrastructure of the college campus . It can be extended and some things can be added to make it more attractive for students it is a big college but should also have things to explore as well
- Social interactions can be made more by arranging some seminars and webinars in the campus. Students can interact with one another and try to look people who are ambitious as they are .. but there is only fights and people making reels for Instagra

I get here admission because I didn't get admission anywhere else the process of admission is a little bit controversial as quota system I got 82 % and didn't get admission anywhere in the list and my friend with 62 % got admission before me because he has done his 12th from model schools .. That's why there is not good students in Sggs 26 sector chd cause they give admission to model school students first without knowing he will be soon dropped out on his own will Many students get admission because they want to do ilets and will go outside the country and for that time they have nothing to do so they take admission which cause many students ended with not getting seats ..deserved one didn't get that's not good admission process in my opinion they should take admission according to percentage not like first model students then outer students that not fair I guesss
