I applied for Panjab University because it was easy for me to like in Chandigarh asbi have been living here for about 5 years. Also the reputation and placement opportunities are also what attracted me about it. The main reason that I didn't opt for other universities or college is merely the city. The admission process of LLB includes a 100 marks entrance examination which is objective. A total of 300 seats are available out of which 150 are for general and other 150 for reserved categories. Cutoff varies every year and ranges between 60-70. I had a great admission experience as i studied really hard to crack the entrance exam and did so by securing AIR 33.

I had given PU 5 year law entrance test.I have prepared for the exam in about 6 months and general knowledge was the main subject. You can easily find application forms, application fees, and application dates at uglaw.puchd.ac.in. Candidates have to score a minimum 50%(45% for reserved category) in 12th class. Application fees for the entrance exam are 2175 Rs for the general category and 1088 Rs for the reserved category. The exam includes subjects like general knowledge, current affairs, legal aptitude, mental ability, etc. You have to focus mainly on gk and current affairs. The exam is for 100 marks. 50 % marks were calculated from the exam and 50 % from your 12 th marks to make the result. If you get 50 - 55 marks in the entrance exam and have more than 90% in your 12 th class , you can easily secure a seat in the university.
