Fees and Financial Aid:

Fees structure is same for all in the department:- 12465 per year and in two semesters installments. Scholarships are also available like merit cum need and others too.You have to give the society fee ,too of 500 rs every semester along with the examination fee differently of 3000 approx.

The the course is so relevant that it covers all the important aspects of the respective subjects.

For taking admission in masters i paid the fees of ?11000 for an year and as our system is semester wise so the examination fees every semester range from 2800-3200. There are scholarships for students which can be availed with some documentation formalities with which the tuition fees of the whole year gets reverted and only examination fees is toh be paid. Students who were from SC/St category from punjab had fees lower tha 2000 for the whole year including examination fees and tuition fees.

A perfect place to be

The fees structure is quite affordable . My feed for Ma Economics is 36500 per year including all the University fees, exam fees etc. My fellow batchmates have a different fee structure but it ranges in between 30000 to 60000 per year which include courses such as msc chemistry .

I have paid around 20000 fees for one year . Fee Structure for all categories except SC (Punjab): First installment of admission fee for candidates with a qualifying degree from Panjab University rs 10675. Admission fee along with migration and registration fees for students who have completed their previous education outside of Panjab University: ?12,775. Fee Structure for SC (Punjab) students: (a) SC students from Punjab with an annual income below ?2.50 lakh are required to pay an admission fee of rs 295. SC students from Punjab with an annual income below 250000, who have completed their previous studies from institutions other than Panjab University, need to pay an admission fee of rs 2,395 (this includes the Admission Fee, Migration Fee, and Registration Fee). Panjab University does not offer any management seats.all addmissions are done on merit basis I took admission on defence quota .there is no scholarship or reduction in fees for defence quota.. Sc and st people get offer

"My college experience"

The tution fees is Ra. 29000 and additional 5000 is charged for examination purpose each year. It needs to be reduced. The scholarships are also not much provided. There must be provision for providing scholarships to meritorious students but no such initiative is being taken.

Fine structure is so high at the end of even semesters. It should be reduced.

In respect to fee structure, the tution fees of GGDSD is high as compared to other colleges. Besides approx. Rs. 29000 as tution fees for a year. Extra charges of around Rs. 5000 are charged for the examination fees. I think it should be reduced keeping in view the parents income sources. Scholarships are also provided to students with income less than 8 lakhs per annum. But I think meritorious students should be aided with scholarships too but no such thing is done. I, myself topped in my examinations but no great honor is given. Such things are overlooked.

If you are hostelller than the total cost of this full year course will be around 50,000 maximum including tuition fees, examination fees and mess fees. Other than this one can apply for other scholarship programmes where you will br receiving fees for the support of these courses.

Tution fee structure Ma is for two year and we had four semester For year wise 1st semester admission fee 9000 and examinations fee 3000 2nd semester admission fee 2700 and examinations fee 3000 For the Hostel we pay only admission per semester 5120 and we pay what we eat for the mess fee . So for this course I think 50 thousand is enough for a student. There are available for scholarship to those belonging to minority and backward classes and I don't have a deep idea regarding this.

Every year 40-50% of students get placements in companies like Mahindra HDFC bank axis bank etc and they get a good package . Many student get internship opportunities Clg also provided schoolships in acdmics or single girl child etc
