I like my college campus which is really excellent and engaging or attractive .

Dislikes

The thing I dislike that college timings should be extended .
The thing I dislike that office administration is not punctual .
The thing I dislike that there are less number of smart boards available in college .

Admission:

I apply for S.D College sector 32 chandigarh as my first preference for admission . I didn't get admission college because I didn't have maths in my 12 grade . I choose Guru Gobind Singh college for women as this is the one of the best college in Chandigarh . This college is very popular for computer application . The admission process in my college is done on official website of district of higher education .

Likes

Neat and clean campus, with proper hygiene.
Internet facility is there. Computer and chemistry labs are there.

Dislikes

There are monkeys in our campus, due to which students have to remain extra careful.

Admission:

I applied in the PGGCG sector 11 also. But I chose my current college due to the environment. As the outsiders are not allowed in the campus, this makes the environment peaceful. Rejection was not the reason for not making it in the other colleges. It was only due to the minimal student strength, facilities and the environment of the college.

Best college for women in chandigarh

Admission:

I applied for DAV College,sector 10 or SD college and last Guru gobind singh college for women firstly i got a call from Dav college but personally i dont like atmosphere there. No rules and regulations after that i skipped that college and took admission in guru gobind singh college

Third and last thing that is liked about my college is that our college provide us free wifi and computer labs for making our study easy.
Second thigs that I liked about my college is that my college cleaning staff is very concern about cleanness and healthy environment which is very important part of our life.

Dislikes

Second thing that I don't liked about my college is that the condition of washroom mirror are not good they all are breaked from last two years.
Third and last thing that I don't liked about my college is that our college campus is very small not very much bigger and attractive as compare to other colleges campus.

Admission:

I don't know about other courses admission process and I only know about BCA admission process and its very simple and easy. The ability in taking admission in BCA is that you must passed 12th from any stream and if you take Maths,computer science or economic in 12th standard you get 10% weatage and the annual admission fees of BCA is 54000 something.

Pros and cons of my college

Likes

Actively participation of students in NSS ,NCC and other wings. Main thing is all the facilities like library, labs , sports ground , gym facility for students and clean hostels are well maintained according to student needs which is a plus point .
The college is mostly a commerce college according to strength of students and teachers, Most of the college decisions are based on this like seminars for commerce student, business ideas programme, extra curriculum activities etc

Dislikes

Digital classroom facilities are not properly available in all the classrooms but it is changing day by day as per the requirement.

Admission:

Eligibility criteria - 50 percent marks in class 12th , admission is on the merit basis on the basis of number of seats of colleges. You can find the application form on Panjab University website it is common form for all the 11 colleges in chandigarh under panjab university after submitting the form we will get the notification within one month if u get selected in any college. You will get the call for admission process from the college it's your call whether to select or reapply for counseling and resubmit form and wait for the college of your choice. There are total 3 online counselling rounds and 2 to 3 rounds of offline counselling in the vacant colleges. Admission process is bit difficult for new students but you can search on YouTube how to fill the form . You have to select according to preference in serail wise order.

College is beautiful, it's very green and give good vibes ..

Dislikes

They have restrictions for the gate entry, you can't leave the college before 12:30 once entered.

Admission:

The admission is on the basis of your 12th exam . The cut off system is there which University itself make on the basis of your 12th numbers. Reservation benefits are provided. No entrance exam is taken for this college. First you have fill a application form for 400 approx than then the final admission form in case you get the admission.

Admission process is very easy because you have to go to the college website and fill in the admission form and if u don't know how to then u have to go to the college and the teachers will personally help the students who don't know about the how to fill the admission form. the teacher of our college is very helpful and supportive.

You can apply online from the official website of the university for the admissions. Aspirants seeking admission to 3 years of full-time BCA Program should meet the following criteria as specified by the institute.

Academic Requirement:

10 +2 in any discipline with at least 50% marks and passed Mathematics as one of the subjects at Matric level or
Any other examination with 50 % marks, recognized by the Syndicate as equivalent to (i)
