UIET CHANDIGARH TRUE REVIEW , based on real experience .

Fees and Financial Aid:

For an IT student joining UIET CHANDIGARH in 2025,fees is quiet affordable in comparison to other private colleges offering the same course . If you are from reserved categories then you can also avail more scholarships . Hostels are also very affordable with fees starting from 6000/semester . The institute also has AC classrooms and well maintained labs. The campus is very green ,clean and quiet.Also, merit cum need basis scholarships is also available. If you are an average student you can get package of atleast of 7 - 8 lakhs. Placement is also getting better day by day.Teachers are very qualified and very well natured . But main disadvantage is this institute is in south campus of panjab university and disconnected from the main campus . Also , hostels are in main campus while classrooms are in soouth campus . Main thing is not everyone gets hostel here as ther eis only limited seats of hostel available . Year wise fees for general students is approx 570000 and lesser for reserved category students.Overall , according to fees and study , it is a decent college.

A Students perspective of Uiet Chandigarh

The year wise fees is 125000 . It is payed around 40000 in the odd semester and 85000 in the even semester . The college fees is increasing at 10percent every year for new grads. There is no reservation on fees for SC/ST students but the students with ews have a 75 percent relief .

Student view for PU

The fees for Panjab University in the course L.L.B (3years) is taken per annum. The fees which was taken in 2025-2026 session 1st year was approx. 25,000 for General Category. LLB 1st Semester fees in 2025 for PU Students was 20570/- and for 2nd Semester it was 4355. There is recession in fees for scheduled caste students of punjab state only who are eligible for post matric scholarship (i.e. whose family income is less than or equal to 2.5 lac or two & half lac. ).

Student Snaps:

The semester fees was roughly Rs. 11000, so that makes an yearly amount to Rs. 22000. This fees includes the tuition fees, registration fees, development fees, lab fees and few of the other charges. The admission and registartion fees is paid through online counselling which is just one time fee. Fees for the students that belong to any of the reserved categories is comparatively low. Apart from this therr are few government scholarship also available and financial aid is provided to those students who are eligible under the economically weaker section.

DAV COLLEGE SECTOR 10 chandigarh Year wise fees paid by me - 35000 + examination fees - 3380 This fees structure remains the same through the years with minor changes only as decided by punjab university For a 3 year course approx 1.15-1.20 lakh There is no sharp or sudden fee hike. Affordable education . Good scholarship support

The Fee Structure for 1year is 31,982 INR and it was paid in One Time , The course for all my batchmate are same , I belong to general category I paid 31982 another friend of my from SC category paid the same ammount . Later on after 2-3 months they introduced scholorship for the students and forms were filled by student but yet tehy didn't get the scholorship

First SEM Experience

My yearly fees is Rs 45885 and it is really affordable. They also a charge an examination fee of around Rs 3380 for every semester i.e. for six times for the whole course. I am not aware about the scholarships and didn't avail any.

I am pursuing my masters in english, we have to pay fees according to our semester, in all the semester we are supposed to pay 12500, so that means around 25000 for one month, and 50000 for whole course, which is quite affordable

There are scholarship programs only for SC/ST/OBC caste and for those who scored good marks and the amount of scholarship depends on the marks obtained and overall family income. I have to pay ?42000 yearly fee in 3 installments as per called by college.
