Prospective students interested in the BCOM program must apply and await the merit list announcements, released three times a year. Approximately 220 students are admitted annually. The college offers a straightforward and secure fee payment process, with an annual fee between 16,000 and 17,000 INR, which can be paid in installments. The total B.Com fees amount to around 50,000 INR, with a tuition fee of about 160,000 INR per year and a 10% annual increase.
Admission fees are 10,000 INR, and additional charges are about 9,000 INR. Despite the varied fee structures, scholarships are not available for any category. Other costs include hostel fees of 6,000 INR every six months, examination fees of 10,000 INR per semester, reevaluation fees of 1,600 INR per subject, and supplementary examination fees of 2,000 INR per subject. The college requires a NEET score above 400 marks for admission. The faculty is well-qualified, with many members from top universities, and the Commerce faculty is notably well-trained.
Each student receives a faculty mentor, and most teachers are supportive. The college conducts mid-terms, send-ups, and final exams. Placement opportunities are better for science students, with banks and companies recruiting primarily in science. The college runs a strong internship program for science students at its hospital, which offers a stipend of 11,700 INR and requires monthly patient interaction targets for certification. Although the college offers scholarships for free studies or stationeries and a loan facility, these are not available for B.Com students.
Despite these strengths, the college is underrated in India.
