Excellent college

Fees and Financial Aid:

I have paid 45000 for the first year and same as for the 2nd year. The fees is not too much as compared to other universities and colleges .Also the education that colleges provided to us worth the fees . I am disappointed by increasing fees for the third year the college has taken .For the third year/Final year, college has taken an increasing amount of 6000 than the 1st and 2nd year. The examination fees for every semester is taken differently from the yearly fees,which i think it must need to be added in yearly fees.Although college has provided all the facilities to me for better study in a freindly environment.

So they charges 52,352 yearly for bca and total cost would be almost 1.60 lakhs. In addition they charge 800 for fillling the form for the first time during the admission. Also 3250 for examination fees.

Fee is ok my fee was 38000 something in 2018 per year for BCA for i think its genuine in others college they charge for 6 month but in dav they charge for whole year its bit difficult for poor families otherwise the fee is same

Tution fees is 48000 per year and examination fees is taken each semester which is around 4000. Scholarships is given to those students who have family income less than 100000 rs. And have passed all the exams .

DAV college : 'Not everyone's cup of Tea'

BCA is not a high costing Degree, it's around rs. 50,000 Per Annum. From my experience I can say that there are Fees hikes every year, around rs. 2000-3000 Per Annum. Also there are hostels built inside college, that also costs like rs. 50,000 Per Annum. Students can also get financial assistance if they are economically backwards. There are no on-campus employment opportunities.

An Honest Review by 1st year student

Scholarship are given to students who need financial assistance and have good marks not to everyone. I don't know about fees hike policy. Campus provide some placement opportunities like TCS, INFOSYS come to campus generally. Some other service based companies also visit.

1) The fees is around 15000rs for the whole course. 2) There are not enough options for getting scholarships. 3) The campus jobs are also not many in numbers and the average package is very low. 4) The return in investment for the students is very good because the fees of the course is very low.

Good college

The fee structure of the college it Little bit high according to the facilities they provide. The one thing I don't like is that some of our lab computer operating system is old so we can't have to have latest os in it There is no such scholorship present in our college

My BCA at Dav, Chandigarh

Fee Structure And Facilities:

The college charges a very decent fee for all its Courses and the same for BCA. The total fee for the 3-year programme was INR 1.11 lacs and students can get further concessions/aids if they fulfill the eligibility criterias. Students have to pay this fee in annual shifts of INR 36480 in II & III year while for the I year some extra charges are added to it.

Fees structure is quite simple here you have to pay fee for entire one year that is approx 38000 per year and 5600 exams fees per year so your entire fees for 3year would be approx 1.30lakh. There is no scholarships so you have to pay fees on your own.
