Lacks basic facilities.i applied is sd college , didnt get admission because my cut off went off by 2 percent , later they just gave admissions through referrals which i didnt have . If you have got 80 plus percent in boards you will get into here . Easily .

As DAV is ranked one of the best instituions in north region for Bcom degree. As I have done my schooling from chandigarh only getting a college in chandigarh was the best option for me and I had heard about DAV a lot as it offers good studies with extra co curricular activites like NCC, NSS and many other societies. Those people who want to study for competitive exams they can prepare for that as there is not much strictness regarding your attendance as teachers understand you and are lenient with your internals and you can move on with a little fine,

Just applied for this college and got admission in it.you have to have atleast 60 percent in your 12th .there is no guarantee that you would admission in the college .You just pay registration fee and wait for lists to come and the lista come from 90s to the last list of 60s . experience was good.it is not complicated to get admission in the college.

Overall good but can be more better

I didn't applied for any other college and I can get easy admission in much more better college but my brother was already studying here and my father wanted me to study here hence I took admission in this college. Admission is on the basis of merit in my course. 85percent is the cut off in the 1st merit list.

Best college in chandigarh

1. I didn't apply to other college because i want to get admission only in DAVC...it's the best college in chandigarh for BBA COURSE 2. Noo..i didn't get rejection from other college because i neither applied for any other college except this college 3. DHE govt...can select the students from their percentage...only those students get admission there who got Merit position in their board results..Cut off was about 87 percent and it provides 4 percent extra for additional maths subject
